That isn't real time unless you've taken a shitload of valium.

Really good performance. Not as balanced as some of our good performances earlier in the year as I think we were a bit more reliant on a handful of dominant senior players, but a great team effort still.

How good was Crouch? Was pretty good last week, much better this week. 12 clearances is elite. Has earned himself another contract in my mind, clearly still an AFL player. The Crouch/Laird/Dawson midfield functioned very well, forward line was firing even without Rankine, pressure around the ball was terrific. Defence stood up pretty well in the third term when Port made their run.

Milera terrific. Hinge absolutely dominated SPP and was sensational, especially in the first half. Liked Smith up the ground too, had another solid game.

I think Keane was good without being amazing, but definitely good enough for an extended run now that Butts is out. Nankervis also not as good as last week but still looks promising.

Not many downsides - Jones was quiet. Soligo and Schoenberg not amazing, did a few good things but Schoenberg was crowded out of the middle a bit and isn't at home up forward and Soligo was a bit sloppy at times. Sloane didn't do a huge amount as the sub. Grasping at straws a bit though, was a great win.

Would that be Milera's best ever afl game? I would still like at some stage to see him have a run through the midfield.
Should put the bed by some on here who don't think Milera cam play in defence.

Surelt their board isn't for real. Apparently we have a 'team of spuds', 'walker isn't any good' etc - despite the fact we've done the double on them comfortably.

They are essentially like a cult, drank their own bathwater for years.
What does that make them lol

What an epic win. Tex, the man, the legend.

MCrouch deserves a metric truckload of apologies from some on here.

Maybe we can tone down the negativity for a week now, at least? Put the ‘Nicks is sh*t’ stuff back in the closet for a while? Made for grim reading last week on the changes thread, ‘our weakest team of the year, Port will win by 30+, Nicks is clueless, blah blah..’

We have stood up and continue to stand up to the toughest challenges all this year, we match it with the very best. Even if we run out of steam as a young team and don’t make the finals, it should be obvious that we have made huge improvements and the future is shiny shiny bright.

WaynesWorld19 given the midfield change, was that the best midfield Nicks could play 🤣🤣🤣
For this week yes, as I posted .....I didn't think Soligo was that influential .....and Schoenberg two grabbed most balls

Rachelle back next week

Biz-wise, I've had a poor trip :grimacing:.
The Aussies shit bowling is getting flogged by the Poms :sob:.
Sciatic nerve on LHS is killin' me, can't sleep :eekv1: :sadv1:, whinge gripe mutter-mutter...

None of it matters.
I've got a rapturous buzz on now, knowing we belted those we-hate-the-Crows flogs,
AND
I haven't even seen a second of the game!!!(but I'll watch it online tomorrow :coolv1:)

Good: Tex, the great man having a career-best season at 33 years old. It's a Hurculean feat, almost unheard of in league history.

We've now squared the Showdown ledger again.

Bad: Port clearly breaching their duty of care to Aliir. If the AFL is serious about protecting the head, the Powa need a heavy penalty.

Ugly: the hole that will be left when Tex retires.

At least with some luck the ugly won’t happen for a few years yet

They can look at the scoreboard
Also their disregard of players welfare is disgusting
