Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

Would’ve liked to get Bruhn but for people thinking it’s going to prop geelong up forever I just don’t think so. They are going to lose a plethora of talented stars over the next 2 years that it is going to be so hard to stay up.

This is one person that’s had 2 games this year 20+ disposals and I’m fairly sure one was against north Melbourne

Please explain?
De Goey type behavior??

Saucy snapchat exchanges in the gossip rags today. Not sure if it was consensual flirty type ones or unsolicited. If it is the former then it wouldn't put me off - that's pretty typical behaviour in that cohort these days.

Rohan, 2E, Selwood, Hawkins, Guthrie, Duncan, Smith, Stanley, Danger and Blitz are all 30+, are all best 22 and will all be gone in a year or 2. Stewart, Bews and Cameron are also best 22 and will be 30 next year. Higgins and Dahl already cooked.

Leading their team after these plays leave will be Henry, Parfitt, Close, Atkins, SDK, Holmes and Stengle. Not all that inspiring and definitely no match winners in that list

Bruhn will help but if they end up giving over a 1st round pick he won't help all that much.

They're pretty ****ed in a year or two.

The worm will turn

Unfortunately the talent pathway down in geelong is pretty strong, even if they bottom out they will find a few plus trades and free agency and obscene land deals will always help

Not that fussed on Bruhn, people seem to forget that the 2020 draft was heavily compromised due to Covid. I suspect it'll be one of those drafts where in 10 years many of those selected that are deemed the best will be a long way from pick 1.

Would be happy for the club to work out a way to get a few picks and maybe a future first from somewhere to work some magic. Our last draft haul was very good, don't see why we can't replicate it.

Not sure I understand the disappointment about Bruhn - Ollie Henry would be a disappointment but Bruhn - nah

still three weeks to go before it actually starts so these small fries shouldn't worry us - I'd much rather have Amon than Bruhn right?

Bruin will be a good player but he is small and fairly one paced. We need to add midfielders with more height, speed and better skills. Not much quality on the market it seems so keep hitting the draft.

Tsatas.

Or if we keep pick 6 Phillipou

In any case I rate Ward, McDonald, Newcombe and Butler all higher than Bruhn
He’s almost a Geelong player now, so I rate Jackson Callow higher….

Oh damn, did he nominate as a free agent or something? Or are we just planning ahead for when GWS take him?
Haven’t you heard? We’re trading pick 6 and 24 to the eagles with DGB for Pick 2 and 26!
