Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

18 for Jeagar + salary is very decent. Midfield might be very frustrating to watch at times next year.

Amon, Meek, 4 top 30 picks.

Losing so much experience. If Sam sticks the landing on this rebuild without making the team a basket-case, and without any AFL assistance, academy picks, F/S luck etc, it would be hugely beating the odds. I guess you have to beat them at some point.

We’ve really let go of lots of experience if the recent trade suggestions are true. We wasted the last few years, should have don’t it then difference being we would have had a better draft hands the last few years.
We’ve really s**t the bed on the rebuild. Glad SM is doing something Clarko couldn’t do. We go into next years trade period with pick 1-3 for sure in what many say is a deeper draft.
Hey now is the time to do it. With the possible inclusion of a Tassie team it’s now or never. Go Sam. Love it.

Crikey when I read the rumour about JOM I had to check if I had logged into the Trade Whisperer’s Twitter feed by mistake. Then I saw McGowan’s report and realised that the most bizarre propositions are normal in Trade Week.
If we lose all our senior players like this 2023 pick 1 may give us the generational player that everyone craves. FMD.

Pick 18 for JOM would be a great deal for us.

Its a big risk but I think its the right call. (If it isnt complete bullshit) With Tassie coming soon now and next year are great times to go full rebuild and hit the draft hard.

Tom and jom are still strong players but realistically they are not taking us to the finals.

An early pick next year then pivot a bit and chase young players over the next couple. The concern is that we turn completely rudderless and young stars dont want to come to Hawthorn but to be fair, they arent beating the door down as it is

C: MacDonald - Ward - MacKenzie
R: Reeves - Newcombe - Reid

Welcome to "The Process"

If we’re looking for mature aged/experience to add for no cost we should look at Mundy as player/assistant. Won’t expect to play every week but still would have great leadership around the squad and can still impact games
He wants to stay in Perth. Has a young family. We have already asked.

Outside of Sicily, none have ever been in a leadership group mate.

Chad can barely get on the park. Frosty is he best 22 given or depth down back? Impey too given his year?

Harry needs to consolidate in 2023.

It would be a huge call, not saying I'm against it, just it's full blow it up start over...

We'd be bottom four without doubt imo. Maybe that's a good thing in next years draft I guess.
Do you have to be in a leadership group to actually be a leader ?

Scoured the delisted free agents list and this was my conclusion…What are Tom Phillips and Dan Howe up to these days? 😂
