Sack anyone involved in this trade period. Absolutely bent the * over. You ******* pieces of s*t. How do we go from pick 25 for titch to pick 41 50 and a kid who was worth about pick 60. I’m glad we were able to bend over and take it in the arse to allow all the teams around us to get their deals done. Bravo you ****** spuds
These dog shit deals were almost worth it just to read this all-time spray :tearsofjoy:

A new era begins. :eyes:

C: MacDonald, Ward, Stephens
R: Reeves, Newcombe, Pick 6*

Worpel… or am I missing something?

Came here to wish Cooper Stephens all the best, had plenty of injuries in his first two years but got a clean run at it this year. Seemed AFL quality when we gave him a go, hope he does well for you.

To the histrionics brigade over the Mitchell trade. If this is the best we could yield out of him over 2 seasons of having him on the block - what makes you think we’d get a better deal next year when he’s a year older and out of contract?
reality might sink in......eventually.

Hilarious that we were all frothing over getting pick 27 and 21 for those guys the last few days and expected to pick up meek and stephens for 3rd rounders! Essentially have paid 1st rounders for those guys after this. Oh well hopefully we are better off without TOM and JOM anyways , we never clicked while they were there.

In top sides, guys picked at #16 don’t just waltz into the midfield straight away.

Broken leg in u18 year. Missed half of 2021 with an ankle.

Proper pre-season in 2022 and he managed 7 games in a premiership team.

He will walk straight in and stand next to McDonald and Ward in the pecking order.

188cm and probably 88kgs next year.

Just what we need and Geelong can’t carry

Sure. But you don't bloody have to pay for them as much as we have.

Crazy.

I’d rather keep him and Play him. We will need stephens to be good as we won’t likely use those picks. At best we will trade them up on the day of the draft.

We better not be paying salary for those crap deals.

Willing to bet we are. And that it's not North's F2, but the WBD F2 via the Lobb trade. And that Cooper Stephens was let go for a reason.

Even if we convert our middling picks this year into picks in the 30s via Brisbane, I can't see the roses for the silver linings in the forest. The glass is less than half full, even after Geelong, Collingwood and Freo all pissed in it.

Finishing last next year a real possibility. Hate it.

HARLEY REID, COME ON DOWN!

The silver lining is we are a real chance of drafting him next season.

Another silver lining is that the young midfielders on the list are going to be thrown in the deep end, so it hopefully accelerates their development.
