Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

I'd love to know what Melbourne would accept for Bailey Laurie. Pick 22 in 2020. Hasn't cracked in for a debut in a strong side during that time.

His VFL stats make for interesting reading. Kicked 21 goals this season and had some strong games from an accumulation standpoint (30 disposals and 3 goals against Geelong).

A crafty mid/fwd who I really wanted in his draft year.

I actually thought Bedford looked quite decent when we played them. Small fwd with a lot of pace, has constantly been the sub this year.

Was keen on him in his draft year, can't imagine he'd be too expensive in terms of collateral given up.

Pretty sure he signed a couple months ago so theu must rate him . I've always thought vandameer from the dogs has some talent , is he gettable?

I like Laith, but his disposal when running at full tilt is pretty iffy. We need classier ball users that's for sure.

Contracts don't mean what they used to either. Players being out of contract just makes things a little easier.

I've thought the same about Bedford. Has got some speed!

Fiorini supposedly on 600k for 2023. You’d want a Brodie style deal (Ie decent pick upgrade) to take that on.

But if Mitchell left could see some sort of play working - we get free depth in Fiorini and hands on another top 25 for cost of a later pick (freo turned a late future 2nd into pick 19). Add that to pick we get for Mitchell and there’s potentially two more picks in top 25 or so.

This would be an ideal salary dump proposal. We lengthen that 600k out over a three-year deal at 400 and look to get our hands on another second-round pick.

I wouldn't be interested in playing him. Just the pick attached to taking on his 600k. Maybe he also has good training standards?

The actual idea of what you're looking for in a salary dump when rebuilding, draft collateral... not 28+ year olds because they're cheap.

James Harmes left out of Melbourne’s team with Brayshaw playing mid again, is he worth a look
