Funnily… or not… cutting to a break today on 5AA KG said at around 9.15… in sort of back ground “what the hell is wrong with him… and the ruckman”…
No one said a word for the rest of the morning. Yet the odds tumbled.
Must’ve referred to the fitness tests 👌

Funnily enough I view it as the reason we performed so well in the following weeks. We broke down at half forward but Sanderson went to a short kicking game plan the next two weeks which worked.
Tbf I was on my death bed in Thailand.

Big game today, only because we are playing against a similar stage side at their home deck. Can't afford another game we lose closely, if we do we should move on the players who cough it up late or go missing and take a serious line with our coaching group.

In reality, if we are embracing expectation and are a top 8 side, nothing less than a 4 goal win makes a statement but I'll be happy enough to take the W

A one point win will do me, I've watched too many games v Hawthorne to not just be happy with a win.

Footy community is wider than the parochial mantra of big footy.
Just saw text go out of his way to find Gunston for handshake during the warm-up.
Just looked friendly.

I get that, at least it'd be on the right side of the ledger when it came to a close game.

At this stage though, I wonder if we are going to go all guns blazing to score 10th on the ladder and miss out on a gun mid instead of taking it a little easier this year, I don't think we are a shot at finals with the remainder of our draw. Look at how North Melbourne benefitted from winning that game last year.

We'll be able to cope without whatever key defender we would have taken in the top five

Blaze on, boys

Fog and Laird doing kick to kick on the wing (same as Collingwood game.
Laird couldn't even get the ball spinning like fog. Zero left foot kicks from Laird either.

I think Dawson gets a tag today. We need Laird to have a big one.
