Statements need to be made. Strachan and Toby to be our ruck and resting forward options next week.
Out O'Brien Burgess
In Murray, Strachan
Burgess can stay Rob can’t

Just looked off all day…like literally one minute in you knew Hawks were going to win it. Without Rankine midfield looks 1 dimensional. Dawson looked awful, losing Tex sucked bit he was plodding around, Smith needs to go, Laird and Crouch awful.

Another embarrassing day to be a supporter really because we are in no man’s land.

Is josh Carr available for the getting?

If I offered you pick 6. Would you trade him?

I mentioned when he was drafted that my only concern was that his ceiling was low. He was already very solidly built when he came to us, and used that size in his draft year to bully smaller kids out the way. He’s another midfield/fwd type player that we have that’s got some speed, but he’s actually not that particularly quick, particularly in repeat efforts. We seem to have drafted a tonne of players that are good at some things, but they don’t have game-breaking weapons.

Huge concerns

We have a top 6-8 squad. We just have an awful coach. If the board allow this dud to continue they are ****ing incompetent idiots.

Late in the game, the commentators were like: It's Crouch, Laird and Smith - their top 3 possession getters...
Smith was not in the top 3. Hinge, Scholl and Soligo all had more possessions. It's like no one sees the fault in Smithers.

Crouch and Laird had 12 and 8 contested posessions respectively. They were around the contest for the bulk of the day. We were smashed in the contest.

They can get all the cheap stats they want, and Nicks will probably praise them for it, but that’s the game there.

Rachele was poor no doubt, but our two most experienced mids were legitimately stat padding and being rewarded for it.

Relax everyone. We'll smash Richmond next week and everything will be ok.

But if ever they was an opportunity to drop a few and inject some enthusiasm, now is the time.
Yeah another wasted year. I hope they get 10k turn up against Richmond.

Smith is a definite delist. Hopefully he retires this week.

We'll smash Richmond and the club will believe there's still a chance to make finals, so they will persist with the current team.

This is the most infuriating aspect. A season that promised so much turned to shit in the first 2 games.

Also, I knew shit was about to go down the minute we lost Thilthorpe before a ball was bounced in anger. That is so Crows luck.

If only :(
Like Sloane, he'll probably play until asked to stop. It's amazing how they can tell Crouch that he'll be playing SANFL, not have a contract and then watch him force their hand to play him and win a new contract, but others can continue to play terribly with no consequence.
