Adelaide’s Hugh Greenwood will request a trade to Gold Coast, according to AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary.

Greenwood, who is without a contract for next year, is set to ink a four-year deal at the Suns, gazumping the Crows’ offer to retain the midfielder.

Greenwood: trade to GCS value: 40-50
Keath: trade to WB value: around 20?
Jenkins: trade value: 50+
Betts: trade value: 50+
Jacobs: RFA--> 2 years to GWS compo: rd 4?

And likely more to come.

Looks like an absolute disaster to be frank. They arent getting much value from these players as they either want out, or have held on too long and the value has dropped. Going to make it difficult to get quality to replace the outgoing. Even with a few pick swaps it is going to be difficult to get picks high up.

Even if they get Grundy, it will be bound to cost them a lot in picks. It shafts ROB, and weakens their hand everywhere else.

I’d so laugh if it ever comes out that the Crows players who were taken on that camp all got together after the camp and decided to make a pact to let their contracts dwindle for a couple of years and then all decide to leave at the same time so the Crows wouldn’t get that much value out of them. That would be a marvellous turn of events.
