""We also understand the significant interest in our view on this issue given we were involved in a trade for a future first round selection which falls in the upcoming national draft."

Rotten Johhny reckons the only reason CFC want Eddie is because it would make for a feel good story. Am happy to tow that line until a trade s done; given they cant expect much for a player incapable of delivering anything more than a fuzzy feeling. But lets see how johnny feels after Eddie rips the Crows a lovely sharp new one when we meet them next season.

If Betts comes home the AFL will fixture us twice against them........bookmark it

Think we are due to play the bottom clubs more often

Young Reid looks like a person who knows he might have just done a massive blunder 👍👍👍

A genius on the Crows board thinks it would be great for GCS to give up Lukosius and Pick 15 for

Jenkins - who spent large chunks of this season playing SANFL (and on $600K for next 2 years)
Greenwood- spent large chunks in SANFL
Keath - good player but will be 28 next year and wants 4 year contract
and pick 21

I.e 1 x solid 28 year old plus 2 x SANFL players for Lukosius and an R1 Pick upgrade of 6 spots.
They really are ****ing nuffies over on that board.

Adelaide is looking at a Trade Period bloodbath next week with up to 10 star players all looking for a new home.

Very kind calling most of them “stars” but clearly there are massive issues there.

And clearly it doesn’t end with the coach.

They remind me a lot of where we were in 2014. There’s a cliff fast approaching.

we are the bottom clubs! have I guaged this room right?
That's correct. Like Melbourne last year and Brisbane this year, we will have a chance to improve through a bottom half of the ladder draw.

My only issues with this are: playing the big inner city clubs brings in revenue and exposure, a view of self which is relative to games available not actual capacity (Lions straight sets) and the potential crash the following year ala Melbourne 2019.

On the other hand, getting wins under the belt and finals exposure is preferential regardless of the circumstances. Bottom line? Beat the challenge in front of you!

I think their current list is slightly better than our list was in 2014, have more mid age talent/value

Interesting to see what they do, somehow I doubt they have the courage for a full rebuild, so they could remain a mid table side for some time
