Apparently both Saints & Dogs medical teams thought he needed surgery after doing medicals, but Adelaide don't think he does and told those clubs as such.

Given recent records of their fitness & medical departments, i'm going to say the Saints & Dogs are right.

Yeah, I can believe it, in 2 senses.

1. Young Reid is in way over his head and his club is a shambles
But also, and (I don’t want to be defending him here)
2. He traded #19 in a super strong draft and #9 in this weaker draft in order to get that high pick (#4) that they’ve never had. To shift back down to a loss, just to gain what will be a (presumably) late first pick in a weak and compromised draft next year doesn’t really fit with their aim.

There are now 3 senior crows not employed to talk, plus the 10 dozen or so players leaving
