Couldn't disagree, Port nailed it - the INXS "never tear us apart" immediately before was great, the whole hill was singing it. Finished right on bounce down, atmosphere was electric. Free Port T-shirt for every member.

What do we get, today was so lame, not inspiring nothing - bitterly disappointed.

Did anyone think Trigg and co were going to blow it out of the park? Seriously? We couldnt even crack 50,000 members to our first home game at AO. That is an indication that there is the smell of death at our club. Im just waiting for PAP to overtake us in memberships, and cant wait to see how our inept club spins that.

Have only seen clips of this week... If you take out the SMA/AFL stuff last week Port didn't really do anything great, unless your a fan of the 2 songs they used. But maybe that's why people think it worked, less is more?

I don't mind not playing our song, I don't think it works as it is, has to be shortened or reworked to encourage more crowd cheering. After the first roar of the crowd it settles into a lame synchronised clap which is pretty embarrassing to do after a while.

No one in my area knew the songs lyrics. A few people would mumble bits and pieces, but for the most part that didn't work in my area.
Shirt was good, but 1 thing does not lead to good marketing.

I left AO thinking to myself "What happened to this club". I have never felt so disconnected with the Adelaide football club! It's just sad! I went down to get a beer and some food at HT, Please tell me they didn't play that Chant hour "Da da da da" crap?? The only thing I liked was the crow sound after we score a goal. Other than that, it was embarrassing. WTF was the OTR shit! I felt like punching everyone that was participating in it. We are down by 20 points at 3QT and know to stuff up in the last quarter, how to people have the joy to do something like that, when the team is down?? Also I arrived just before the opening bounce, did people boo Trigg??

Could only go to one game, even after tickets were available last night I looked at flight costs but couldn't make it happen, will be back for our night game vs Collingwood, hopefully we've improved by then.

I thought what Port did was good, they didn't do much really when you think about it, it just didn't come across as trying too hard. I won't hold the stupid joining of the coin or AFL executives crossing the oval to dramatic music against them haha.

I don't need a free tshirt, or hand out, most Port supporters around me didn't even wear them, keep it simple but do what you do well.

They did have the benefit of first game excitement and showdown tension though, from what I hear there wasn't that atmosphere today.

To those saying that Port's pre game stuff last week was average....PLEASE GIVE IT UP! Sorry, but just because we hate them, doesn't mean we bag everything that they do. They ****ing nailed it. I even had a smile on my face because of how well they did it. That song was awesome. Also those tops on the seats was a brilliant idea. That was nice 'thank you' to their fans. What do we get?? Nothing! Just Trigg and Cornes in a dick measuring contest. I'm really tired of them putting the focus on themselves than the fans. I have no doubt ATM that Port is the #1 club in SA on and off the field. We could change that back, but it would take a lot of effort.

Im glad that I went but it was and is a sad memory I have now. All I wanted on the day was for us to lose by about 3-4 goals and that would have made me really happy and optimistic.

Today was a joke, we are CLEARLY running about 3rd or 4th in a 2 team town.
