Mate its ****ing sky "news"

Did they mention that this leak came from SA? Did they mention that cases were from over 50s who were not vaccinated (probably after hearing their propaganda against the AZ vaccine) and did they mention anything about the people walking around having personal responblity (conservatives love talking about that point)

they did talk about the federal government and fear mongers

Yet up here in beautiful mask free NSW they’d never even contemplate locking down over so few cases.

It’s better than the massive overreaction under Dan but still seems ridiculous. If your 2,300 contact tracers can’t deal with 12 daily cases then the system is beyond f’ed.

Did laugh that QR code’s become mandatory in Victoria tomorrow, always late to the party...

Theres a lot of venues involved now - currently 121 on the vic site, including 3 "massive" areas - highpoint shopping center, MCG, Marvel stadium.
In my recollection that is a shit load more contacts than the NSW contact tracers ever had to deal with (even the northern beaches they were able to get away with focal lockdowns initially) and I don't think any big sporting environments were involved

The health minister disagrees with you

It’s not yet known if the two cases are linked to the Wollert man or Epping Woolworths contact tracing bungle.

Speaking on the Woolworths case, Mr Foley said state government’s contact tracers “fell down” when they misinterpreted a bank receipt from a returned traveller.

Mr Foley said the Wollert man, who had completed a stint in South Australia’s hotel quarantine program, returned to Victoria and went shopping at Epping Woolworths while infectious.

“As a result of the investigations … from the coronavirus public health team, discussions with him and the production of his phone banking electronic receipt apps was clear - it said Epping Woolworths,” Mr Foley said.

“Where our team fell down is that it took it to the Epping Woolworths spread across the road from another primary exposure site, the Indian grocer.

“There is a Woolworths literally across the road.

But when have people like you dealt in facts.

Firstly I am pissed at both ScoMo and the Boomers for the lack of progress on vaccinations. That's the only way out of this because we aren't locking the country up forever.

But I reckon the "missing link" from the Woolert man to this cluster is about as likely to be officially discovered as who authorised private security at hotel quarantine last year..

It's "missing" because there's no way they are admitting it was the other Woolworths and this outbreak is yet another state government bungle.

Legit. It's always been the northern suburbs.
You mean 'little India'?

Outer Epping, kalkallo, wollert, Donnybrook = Little India

They re either trucking the virus in from India or working hotel quarantine. Always going to be plenty of exposure from this suburbs.

Yep, yet all the campaigners whinge and carry on about how you have to let people come home...🙄🙄

They’ve had 18 months!!!
18 months and still no effort put in to build property quarantine, report given to the PM 9 months ago that hotels aren’t fit for purpose and nothing dibs about it.
I’m sure you’ll try blame bud government for this lockdown but this is 100% because of the lack of action by the feds

No money in the budget for it either.

Yeah always someone else’s fault. When the national cabinet with all premiers and chief ministers decided to support the hq program it was the states are wonderful, they’re so fantastic. Then when it goes wrong they cry oh the states shouldn’t have to do it.

At the end of the day the states run health, the states are needed to run these. Even the new facility will be state run.

But what the blame the Feds for everything crowd fail to talk about is this was someone who’d finished quarantine and returned home before becoming sick. Imagine the uproar if they came out of Federal quarantine.

Oh of course. That’s what you all want, to pass the buck and you know there’ll be cases so the blame can be on the Feds instead of the incompetent state governments.

Correction, it's never Morrison's fault with you. For anything.

I reckon he is in the Trump category. He could go out and randomly shoot someone and you would still back him.

Unlike the brainwashed members of the cult of Dan I don’t really have any care for Morrison. If he was replaced tomorrow it wouldn’t even register.

Yet as seen by the mourning and anger displayed by some ever since their hero had a drunken fall, the Cult of Dan is very, very attached to their Dear Leader.

Sure Ed.

Is it Dan Andrews fault that you are a whiny dickhead?

Or are you running with personal responsibility?
