I reckon those that proclaimed pre-match that we are the fittest team left in it were really on to something.

The longer the game went, the more it opened up, the more our hard running was rewarded, and the better we looked.

First up, credit to GWS. They were sensational for all four quarters and that's what makes this win so impressive. They gave us nothing. The umpires gave us nothing. This was just tough gutsy football, a high pressure win with plenty of areas to improve on. The perfect formula to go into a Prelim.

Getting the win with relatively little out of our forwards inc Parker, Blakey and Gulden.

I prefer McLean to Grundy in the ruck right now.

Campbell needs to start. Jmac to miss and Adams or fox to sub. Wouldn't say no to dropping Amartey and playing a pressure small.

Hayward is so clean right now (most accurate in the league based on difficulty of shit) and despite his ducking, paps is huge.

We showed some serious guts in that last quarter. Faith restored. Let's win that flag.

Heeney just brilliant. Deserved to be in the winning side.

Campbell had a massive impact.

Toby Greene did nothing.

A heap of players lifted, but Campbell completely turned the game.

Heeney herculean. Rowbottom showed how underrated he is (our second most important mid... maybe even player?). Papley inspirational on return. Jordon - what a pick-up.

**** I love this club.

Best case scenario for Geelong.

Wish you the best of luck having to (potentially) get past our opponent from today in a prelim first. Trust us you’ll need it.

That desperation and pressure and dare in the last is what's needed to win the GF.

If we don't bring it for 3-4 quarters we will get towelled up by Geelong.

I will never

EVER

suggest dropping Jake Lloyd again

amazing.

Just to get the negative out of the way first, for the first 3/4 we were pretty ordinary.

The positives!

Hats off to the AFL umps for keeping it close. Inspired stuff. Would have made a nice Friday night game, d!ckheads.

Isaac Heeney is a superb footballer. Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.

Braedan Campbell, take a bow. And I don't care what everyone else says, I've never stopped loving you.

Hats off to Willy Hayward. He's had a great season and he was one who went all day.

Chad - like a bear awakening from hibernation, he was a beast in the last.

Rowy, the human meat grinder. Kept us in the hunt when others were doing jack.

Bloody great to break the hoodoo. Rest up and let the other teams beat the sh!t out of each other.

How good was Heeney's mark!!!
And his long range goal!!!

Yay for you all esp Zevon and TheGoatBaron

I can say this freely as a neutral, The Swans were absolutely hosed by the umpires for much of the game, however to your boys credit, they dug deep, and never gave up, a transcendal and inspiring performance from the Milky Bar Kid helped so much too.

Once Carlton are bundled out of the finals (prolly tonight) I am definitely on the Bloods/Swans bandwagon for the flag.

I don't get why so many neutral fans hate your club, a strong NSW presence is essential for the future of the AFL/Australian Rules Football.
