Far out we have been decimated by injuries
Nothing more than most other clubs and with the exception of Naitanui and Kennedy there are no definitive best 22 players on the injury list.

Admittedly they are 2 of our most important players and Lycett and Wellingham aren't ready for senior footy as they build through WAFL but it's hardly decimated

I don't think any club would perform as expected if you took away their 2 best players. Imagine Geelong without Danger and Selwood, Adelaide without Sloane and Laird, Richmond without Cotchin and Martin, Sydney without Kennedy and Buddy. etc. It'd be nice if some of the 2nd tier players could step up, but missing the 2 best players would cripple any team, except for maybe GWS.

Tunbridge set to return Saturday for EP reserves playing Swan Districts ...the Lars experiment hopefully or has given Tunbridge an opportunity .

Maguiness ex Eagle playing for EP suffered Bone Marrow Edema Syndrome and the reason he couldn't continue his AFL career , looks pretty good now and would definately be a good rookie prospect if he can handle the AFL training regime. ....which I suppose is doubtful but he has the ability .

NicNat of to the USA to up tempo his training under the guidance of a specialist trainer.

Wonder what this means, a chance to play this season or a break and further consolidating his knee.

All sounds good though.

With the money the club has, we should be doing things like this more often. If the player wants to travel that is.

Good to see though.

MacKenzie and Brown went over to Philly during their rehab. NicNat said on the Backchat podcast that he had thought he would be going over with Tunbridge during the offseason (around Super Bowl time) but the club nixed the idea.

Maybe now Tunners is basically finished his rehab and they don't have to pay to send him over they've now decided to send Nic :p

The good news I guess is that there's a spot for Watson if he gets back to the point of being considered for senior selection.

Tunbridge has gone from 1 week to 2 weeks, everyone else is pretty linear.
last week they said he was doing a mini preseason. probably decided to cut back his work load this week.

"Jacko is progressing well. It’s a lower grade hamstring and we’d expect him to miss no more than one, possibly two weeks”.

....

No more than one week, only to immediately contradict himself and say possibly two? A better way to phrase would be "no more than two, hopefully only one".

Then again, this time in relation to young Venables - “If we can get the level of loading through it he will only miss another one game, possibly two”.

Perhaps I'm being needlessly pedantic, but given the track record of weeks inexplicably turning into months with little to no explanation from the club, I'm a little tender and full of worry.
