appeals ?Well that post aged well
They showed better angles on today's Access All Areas. Is there any better vision than the one in the OP because I can't really see much in it from that far? Or maybe I'm just blind
Ive had a broken nose and I know it hurts like hell....who determines that it is low impact and nothing to see hereLow impact?
Fu** me. I'd hate see what High impact looks like? Dude would have to be dead.
The Low impact sets the scene doesn't it?Token one week suspension so Heeney can challenge it and get off.
AFL is just "pretending" to do the right thing.
The message? Don't slip when you're a defender 70m off the ball, because you can get clocked in the face and cop a broken nose? It’s all in the wording of the directive - it says something like - ‘will USUALLY result in a grading of intentional’
I would argue this is not ‘usual’
- The tackling player slipped and this brought his head down to waist height
- the tackling player was actually ‘hanging on’ and Heeney’s clear intent was to clear the tackle, not strike the player
-Heeney was not watching the tackling player at poc.
- How can a clear accident be intentional?
Yes, the percentage whinge factor is right up there - almost need wings to stay above their BSHave Essendon fans always been this broken or did one of their players bring suspended for shoulder charging another player in the head push them over the edge?

I think you guys just aren’t used to having another teams supporters actually having feelings towards youHave Essendon fans always been this broken or did one of their players bring suspended for shoulder charging another player in the head push them over the edge?
Try “ Don’t hang on to players 70 metres off the ball, then slip face first into an arm that is clearly trying to break the illegal hold”The message? Don't slip when you're a defender 70m off the ball, because you can get clocked in the face and cop a broken nose?
Think it’s more like not being used to other teams supporters stupidity. At a guess.I think you guys just aren’t used to having another teams supporters actually having feelings towards you
Must be your first year following footy then. Wonder why you hopped on…Think it’s more like not being used to other teams supporters stupidity. At a guess.
Think they can argue the force was negligible like they did with Jessie Hogan. Not allowed to.
That was the rule change.
?You’ve gotta stop reading everything Donald Trump writes.
Bye.?
Not sure what that means?
But FWIW, I agree that it was Careless. I don't agree that it was Low impact though. That's simply absurd.
Barry Hall likes this.Have Essendon fans always been this broken or did one of their players bring suspended for shoulder charging another player in the head push them over the edge?
