Oh didnt realise there was a strict criteria...play on
still they are young and best 18
what I was saying was we have not brought in a kid this year that has cemented his spot in the 22, so this year we have literally gained nothing. That was my point.

ahh..well then I actually agree, but we wouldnt be the only team that hasnt unearthed a great talent.
We have tried new players - Amon, AhChee looks good, Clurey looks good .. young players can take time.
I will say that at this point in the season, I would play every kid on the list these last 4 weeks..

I think we all would, apart from ken. He wants to drop all the kids. I cannot understand the logic, and if its to do with qualifying for SANFL i just do not agree in the slightest.

Neither has Freo, Neither has Hawthorn, Neither has Sydney, Neither has North Melbourne, which was my point. We aren't the only club that hasn't brought in a new kid this year - and even so, Impey has played 13 out of 14 games he's been fit for, AhChee will likely play 10 games this year, we've debuted 2 kids, the only kid that hasn't got a game that probably should have is Harvey.

Complete over emotional rubbish.

Some on here have wondered but with so many targets for our anger/frustration Voss has not been front n centre.
There has been times this year when our BF board has been a pretty dismal place so thanks for your tip.
Even if he was a large part of our fall Ken will probably stick by him :(
Vossy now has to dig deep like whole club. A brilliant season and maybe crows or Carlton would have snared him. But now he can't just run at coat tail of Ken and co

Yeah lets compare outselves to 3 out of the teams and a team who refuses to blood new talent. We sit 12th, not in the top 4.

Impey played better last year, he was in our best 22 last year too

Ah Chee has not cemented his spot in the slightest, played 1 game without the vest.

2 is not enough when you finish 12th.

Your outlook is amazing, not sure how one can be so positive, we may as well have thrown this year out, we have gained zero, if anything we are in a worse position with our list than we were 12 months ago.

EDIT:
- Sydney has had Heeney
- North has had Jacobs cement his spot. Dumont is also clearly up to playing AFL.
- Hartung has played 15 games for Hawks this year
- Fremantle has had Alex Pearce

If you look beyond your sense of self worth and read the forum you would note that i agree, and posted nearly word for word similar earlier in the week.

Heeney has played 8 games. Pearce has played only through necessity. Dumont ha splayed 7 games - no more than our kids.

None of our kids have demanded a regular spot. That is on them, not the club. Arch, amon, moore, young, gray, mitchell, neade have all wasted chances. You cant have it both ways, abuse the club when we lose, they bring in kids and still abuse them when they lose.

the kids have not been given enough of a chance, idk if you read my big post but i have said he opinions on whats happened to all these kids

My big ' what the **** Ken' moment was Cornes's retirement.

Kane coming out and saying that the game has gone past him, he can't get to the contests he used to. But yet is playing the next two games?

Ken endorses this but then we here the line 'I am not going to gift players games'

He gifted Kane two games. Despite the fact Kane may have deserved it because of his time and effort at the club - Kane's interest in the game had changed.

I am coming back to this quote again but I am still not over it and like I said before, it makes me want to commit.

"I'm really strong in the belief of what we do and I'm not going to change from that … I don't care if people think I have to change or the team has to change – the team will get it right."

If you look at arguably the best soccer (football) manager in the world or most successful Jose Mourinho, he will never blame the players. If so it is a very rare event for him to blame his player group and say anything negative about their performance. I just do not agree with "The team will get it right" this attitude will take the club right back to where we were before Hinkley. For Ken not to admit tactically he has been murdered this year is damn right arrogant and stupid. Ah Chee's performance on the weekend was just another reminder on how stubborn Ken is and really how little he knows about his own players.
