Looking at some of their stories about what happens at our games, I've been going for 30 years and not seen most of what they are talking about, and certainly not any of it more than once or twice

Also much prefer Adelaide as a place to live compared to the fake plastic Gold Coast full of tossers from other places.

who made a good point, linked here earlier, said if $800k is over paid, what's he actually worth, then I think it was Carey who said $650k no problems, so he replied that there would be hundreds of players across the league that were overpaid in recent times based on their contract vs. output, guys who are paid $450k but form was down, missed games whatever and their output was $300k worth but nobody says anything. Top end and "highest paid" and everyone starts freaking out.

I made this comment a while back but GC hate our guts. Dew hates us for obvious reasons but it really started when he smashed them and Pyke and co were caught on camera laughing their arses off in the coaches box. Ever since then, every game they've played against us has been a GF.

Remember when the media were playing it up that it is unprecedented/unfathomable to walk a player through the PSD. Then Carlton walks Martin to the PSD and gets lauded as geniuses? Remember when Gibbs nominated us and we were of the mindset that all players requesting trades always seem to go through (surprise, it didn't). Once again, Carlton was lauded as trade geniuses.

All it takes is one of the Vic clubs to take to go against the "unspoken rule" of not picking a player wanting to go home, and we'll get screwed over by the VFL again in the PSD.

Quite confident GCS/AFC sort out a fair deal, but nothing is ever 100% certain.

The loose unit Cochrane sealed it for us when the pressure got to him, totally unprofessional to go on a salty rant calling Izak “the kid” and how much they had done for him, money talks, innuendo about Izak‘s family problems, team mates thought he was in it together with them, and them pulled out his non existent medical degree to comment on his shoulder issues and a managed arthritic hip ffs.

No going back there for Izak.

I think it’s a few kids talking crap. Reality is that poster told an absolute BS story about a crows game. Been a member for 8 years and never seen anything close to what he crapped on about.
As for the Gold Coast v Adelaide as a place, I was there a few weeks ago. Rain and thunderstorms, fake everything, people trying to rip you off everywhere, Adelaide is seriously a haven compared to that GC shithole.

• GC new that he was a flight risk and chose him anyway
• could of had both King's with their draft hand
• Rankine is out of contract and is quite within his rights to move

To be fair, both Kings were considered incredibly high flight risks, followed by Rankine, then Luko. If King didn't do his ACL, I'm sure he would've left as well this year.

Cochrane never had an issue with money talking when it got Ablett, Bock, Hunt and others over to their side.

One thing was certain, Geelong were never going to march Dangerfield to the PSD in 2015, because if they did, they wouldn’t have seen him again for at least another year. Carlton, Melbourne or Essendon would would likely have taken him in the PSD, at worst to trade him on to Geelong for plenty after 12 months.

Geelong would have readily shunted a Top 10 player out the door or more to get the extra collateral needed to get the Dangerfield trade with Adelaide done - including giving up on Henderson to allow for their future 1st.

We were a bit too generous.

We haven't got any confirmed trades to speak about yet. All other clubs it's just pointless, likely highly inaccurate speculation of who is going to nominate which clubs they want to be traded too.

I find it amusing that all supporters want such and such a player to join their club and then as soon as the player agrees to come and it's time to pay up, suddenly said player is not worth a cracker!!

It's like demanding $1000 for your old bike but only offering $500 for a new bike that's just as good, if not better than your old bike then threatening the seller either he gives it to you for $500 or you'll steal it off him and he gets nothing.

Still somehow people are pretending like the Crows are worse or more unreasonable than any other side. All I see is a bunch of turds who are big mad that a club they don't like is getting a good player.
