Suns board talking about backflip
So does this mean, McAsey is still worth around #6 ?I agree in that it's not everything but it is a factor. First round picks are worth a lot, especially top 10 picks so when a club loses a player relatively soon after using a first round pick on them, they want compensation around the mark.
Surfer's is an upmarket version of Bali/Phuket. You would be hard pressed to find a more soulless shithole.I think it’s a few kids talking crap. Reality is that poster told an absolute BS story about a crows game. Been a member for 8 years and never seen anything close to what he crapped on about.
As for the Gold Coast v Adelaide as a place, I was there a few weeks ago. Rain and thunderstorms, fake everything, people trying to rip you off everywhere, Adelaide is seriously a haven compared to that GC shithole.
Sholl, Crouch for a late 2023/2Or we need to split for 2x later 1st rounders - 1 for Hopper, 1 for Rankine.
Shows how rare it is... & even less likely now as the AFLPA wield power behind the scenes. Was there a Port player? Stevens?
flawedSo does this mean, McAsey is still worth around #6 ?
It's a totally floored argument ....Laird was taken as a Rookie ...are you saying his current Trade Value is impacted by the fact, he was a Rookie ?
We would be lucky to get a 4th.
Are we seriously a chance for Hopper? Frampton might nett us a late 2nd/early 3rd and there still seems to be talk around Berg to Freo even though he signed. He might be worth a late 2nd as well. Hopper would be awesome if we are in with a chance.Sholl, Crouch for a late 2023/2
Our 2023/1 and 2023/2 for Rankine and GC 2022/2, then ours and GC 2nds this year for 14.
14 for Hopper.
Keep 5.
Your argument is flawed, Port got Watts who was Pick 1 for a 2nd rounder only.I agree in that it's not everything but it is a factor. First round picks are worth a lot, especially top 10 picks so when a club loses a player relatively soon after using a first round pick on them, they want compensation around the mark.
Do you have one example in the history of the draft where a player has been taken in the PSD by a club where he didn’t want to go - and that club was based in a different state ( not his original state)
The example doesn’t even have to be a star. Just one single example?

And paid way oversYour argument is flawed, Port got Watts who was Pick 1 for a 2nd rounder only.
IIRC ....you can't trade a player in the 1st year of a new contractAre we seriously a chance for Hopper? Frampton might nett us a late 2nd/early 3rd and there still seems to be talk around Berg to Freo even though he signed. He might be worth a late 2nd as well. Hopper would be awesome if we are in with a chance.
Volbeat said it (terms even agreed on), so I'm taking it to the bank. Are we seriously a chance for Hopper? Was at the end of the first year of his 3 year ContractDidn't McGovern re sign and then request a trade a few months later?
The 23-year-old is contracted for a further two years, but is interested in leaving the club at season’s end.
McGovern signed a three-year contract last year that was met with much fanfare, but it has been widely reported he became unsettled at the club that has fallen from last year’s grand final to 12th spot this season.
I thought he was disgruntled because AFC said they had no more money during his contract talks, then we sign up Gibbs months later on $$$.Was at the end of the first year of his 3 year Contract
There certainly was some argy bargy about the Contract Value, prior to signing the Contract .....but he was a year in, b4 CARL came knockingI thought he was disgruntled because AFC said they had no more money during his contract talks, then we sign up Gibbs months later on $$$.
Rules got changed I think ti prevent a recently signed player to be traded.Didn't McGovern re sign and then request a trade a few months later?
Sounds like it is a race in 2.Thought he said "take with a grain of salt"?
Is this a very recent comment by Volbeat?
We are not getting a 2nd for Billy - 3rd round is best case scenario. Are we seriously a chance for Hopper? Frampton might nett us a late 2nd/early 3rd and there still seems to be talk around Berg to Freo even though he signed. He might be worth a late 2nd as well.
