By reports they want a top 10 pick and Sydney think Dawson's value is ahead of Cerra who is commanding pick 6 so yes they want 4 with nothing coming back to us

Not suggesting he is a superstar. Last 3 years have been really solid with this year as a breakout
But who have we traded in that’s better? I can’t really recall us trading a known quantity in (bar Gibbs) for many years

Seedsman was in and out when we got him. Lynch and Jenkins weren’t playing. Jacobs had only played a handful of games albeit promising

Outside of Gibbs (Betts via free agency not trade) I can’t recall one in the last 15 years where the player was a top 10 at their club

busy few years personally, so excuse probable ignorance, but was it Faith that also said Luko was only worth a 7-10 pick in the year drafted? if so, he looks right on that one at least. sounds like he dudded you last yr though

Dawson's a nice get but it's not as though he's reached superstar status off of one half of a really good season.

So we are the media darling of the trade period, thanks Sydney and especially Port Power. We've "seen" to have been very reasonable so it won't be a shock to walk Dawson to the PSD and more importantly Dawson won't be angry with us since giving up pick 4 for him (even he will see is massive overs) will prolong the rebuild of our exciting young list he is joining.

I am personally of the belief PSD is now a realistic option the club is considering

I see the Vic media has now conceded that the PSD is an option for the Crows and the messaging may just start to turn.

Best player in the market....please Cerra has shown more than Dawson. Crows offered pick 17 which is reasonable starting point and the Swans rejected it. For me that's a "thanks for your time, we'll work with Jordan and his management on the PSD now"

Allir is good when he is the loose in defence get him to defend and he gets exposed 1 on 1 its why the Bulldogs just sat Schache on him.

But yes would of been nice to keep him and acquire Hickey but we gave him up for peanuts hence why most Sydney fans are extremely surprised with our stance.

Really hope Nicks gets the success he deserves great player and a ripper bloke in general.
