If we have beaten Port he would not have been dropped. He has been made the scapegoat because after Rankine was flattened none of our leaders showed anything. They lost their composure and our coach had zero ability to get the players back.

When our young guns used to be discontented and/or leave, we'd all pile on the player or manager for chasing money, being soft etc. Even though it was during our good/competitive seasons and there was some argument for keeping a steady 22, perhaps not playing kids every week etc.

We're now terrible, bottom 4, and mismanaging kids still. This season in particular has been very revealing.

And not just some kid - a kid who has committed to us until 2029. It's unbelievable.
