A pick in the 20s is probably about right. 23, in Essendon's case.

I'd also consider taking Kepler Bradley - I think the boy has it in him to play AFL footy.

I think this is one trade that the Swans can really win big on. Jude is one of those players that some clubs desperately need.

That has been ruled out by the Swans.

Roos wont trade Bolton unless he gets something very good in return. I don't think they have draft picks in mind. Perhaps a straight player swap or something.

I hope that Roosy has identified that we have to many "Jude Bolton" types in our midfield and that we need some pacey outside players instead.

I reckon Jude represents the most value to a team like the doggies who need another in and under to compliment West. The only problem is that they don't have a lot of key position stocks to offer up. They have a plethora of skillful, pacey types though.

Whether I've assessed his future accurately or not, we'll get better for him than pick 40 if he is traded.

Giffen of the Bulldogs variety? That's no way we can get him with Jude (would love to have him, obviously), if it was from bulldogs, probably along the lines of McMahon or Sam Power and a 3rd rounder or something like that. Would love to get their second rounder as well though.

Depends. Griffen + 2nd or 3rd rounder for Jude + 1st rounder.

Wouldn't need McMahon.

In saying all this. It's probably just a kick up the arse players like Bolton, Schneider and Buchana actually need. They won't be traded.
