Sounds like the Sainters are going to be at close to full-strength. That's great news for our fringe players. It will add credibility to any good perfotmances they put in.

It's time for Koby to step up. He needs to put in a performance that demands rd1 selection and he's running out of nab games.

I say just play him from round 1 to round 5, if he doesn't show anything tell him the gig is up.

Sam Butler Will Schofield Beau Waters
Lewis Stevenson Matt Priddis Matt Rosa
Jack Darling Fraser McInnes Josh Hill
Mark Nicoski Gerrick Weedon Ryan Neates

R. Dean Cox Daniel Kerr Chris Masten

Not sure about that forward line - maybe Hamp?

so no Gaff, Shuey, JK, Lynch, Glass, Hurn, Embley.
notable returns Rosa, Nic Nat, Waters

just eye balling the saints line up the only senior player not there is Gwilt?

I think our forward line will look a little like this:

Hf; Darling, McInness, Nicoski
Ff: Hams, Naitanui, Weedon.

With it being swapped to this during the game

Hf: Swift, Darling, Hill
Ff: Hamp, McInness, Neates.

I rate Big Frazer at FF and think Weedon and Neates have the ability at ground level, so not bad for us to have a look at the Future but to win we will need probably 10 more marks inside 50 then the saints. But I spose time will tell.

Would be very surprised if we won this.

The forward line didn't work last week and don't see it working this week minus Lynch.

But the thing that worries me most is the absence of both Hurn and Glass. You need one of the generals back there and watching Hurn last week up close, he is not shy of barking orders on and off the field.

I don't know about this. If waters, buttler and a.selwood are playing they should have enough experience and leadership to take over.

We will miss hurns kicking that's for sure.

I see what you're saying, but Vic clubs tend to struggle in 35+ degrees.

Stevenson's in - be interesting whether they try to utilise him like Hurn

yep i was thinking "maybe ill go this week", then i pick up the west and see it will be 39C, bugger that.

we'll have a pretty severe advantage given we have been training in the sun at peak times.

I'd also like to see Nat play most of the game but forward. Really gives him a chance to develop more his forward play.
