It is not just Hurn's kicking we will miss, it is his marking. He and Glass are able to float across half back and mark opposition long kicks into the forward line.

Waters is also good at this, but Hurn and Glass also marshall that backline which gives confidence to those around them. Without them out there it may fall down a bit.

Will be interesting to see how we go against such a strong team.

So with Lynch resting who plays that roaming CHF to take the strong contested mark up the wings?....Darling? but if he is more outside the fifty who takes his spot in the FWD line?

I agree with some posters that we dont have much of a forward line...Marking power/presence wise...

I believe it just shows how important Kennedy is to our lineup (obviously)

so no Gaff, Shuey, JK, Lynch, Glass, Hurn, Embley.
notable returns Rosa, Nic Nat, Waters

just eye balling the saints line up the only senior player not there is Gwilt?

Yea Gwilt & Clarke only senior guys missing i think. Much more senior side then they would have wanted to field this week, bloody Essendon.

Goodluck anyway guys, looking forward to seeing us play 4 quarters for first time this year!

If West Coas are favourites, people should get on the Saints for this one. I'd love for the Eagles to win it, but it's gong to be a tough ask given the relative strength of the sides.

Agree that we'll miss JK, Hurn & Glass in this one.

Yeah I have a feeling we r gonna get smash too. Injuries, players out, saints full list, everything saying we have a backs to the wall on this one. Not confident
