It wouldn't have surprised me greatly if Amon was offered as a trade, but even if no other club was interested he should be safe for next year.
White is the obvious one to retire or delist, but that would probably be it for the main list, and Palmer could be on very thin ice, but the sheer number of other changes should save him for 1 more season.
Ladhams and Leinert would be certainties to at least retain their rookie spots, as is probably Irra, the survival of the other rookies is probably 50/50 at best, although I won't complain if Snelling and Eddy get another year.

I think now, Polec Motlop Boak Wingard Gray x2 to a lesser extent Ebert and Neade can all do what he has does, as good or better but with the added bonus of playing forward.

I am same. Amon does not get enough of the ball and either pin points passes or it explodes off the side of the boot on the full....

Yep, not every mid has an AFL ready body and is top notch from game 1. He’s improved year on year and is yet to reach 50 games. He’s not a star by any stretch, but plays his role ok and should get better still at it with more games under his belt.

I think Amon's a bit vanilla. He's OK at everything without really having any tricks that make him an asset to the team. Reminds me of Andrew Moore in that respect.

Amon is one that drops out with all our additions imo. I can see him requesting a trade if he plays less than 10 games in 2018.

I have never understood the love for Amon on this board. For the so-called reputation regarding his 'elite' kick he butchers the footy by foot as much as anyone in our side. Shirks often at the contest. Good runner but I wouldn't say we see him use his speed to break the lines.

Nothing more than a depth player.

Personally really rate Snelling purely for the amount of tackles he lays. I probably rate tackling too highly though, but think he deserves a spot.

It’s not a big step to turn into averaging 20 possessions a game. That’d make it hard to argue against his inclusion.

I reckon his ceiling is elite. I wouldn't bet my house on him getting there, but I still think he should be in the frame next year. With imp and young gone he'll get games.

Totally agree re the out of date perception. Early on yes...but I was really impressed by his tenacity later in the season. He will have a battle to make the side but I think he has huge upside.
