Cal Twomey says on Trade Radio that while Fremantle will want to get as much as they can for Blake Acres, he will get to Carlton for a future 2nd or 3rd Round Pick because of his uncontracted status.

Future 2nd or even better a future third rounder would be perfect for us. Forty3 good info from Bluemours-No Discussion.:thumbsu:

Schache is liable to have a howler now and then, but he can play footy, versatile, skilled, intelligent tall, with a beautiful kick on him too.
The negativity is derived from his lack of impact /intensity at times and being a little soft for the mainstream appeal.
if trade is convenient and inexpensive , given a fresh start he may be serviceable.

Hunter is rated highly as a player, but obviously has some issues outside his footy, the Dogs won't be giving him away cheaply whilst he is contracted.
Mid-late 1st round pick would most likely be required.
We have a need for more outside run, not sure he fits that category.
I will eat my hat if they get a pick inside 25 for him.

I’ll start losing faith in Austin if he brings in Schache. The doggies used Schache as a decoy lamp post to free up their other forwards. And Schache put up with it. Would have like Schache to go **** you and gone for the ball a few times.

I’m worried it’s getting like ….we can only afford a value pick this year. Then Austin goes, ok, I can help, I’ll conduct a relentless search for the best option Australia-wide so long as they are on the bulldogs list.

Surely on the value front he could consider another club. And stop with bringing in emo players in what is a brutal game. while delisting the only player with an ounce of mongrel in Stocker.

I can just see it now, Young loses his confidence for a couple of weeks, and face plants the ball straight to the ground and then both Schache and Boyd look around for someone to pick it up. Around that time plowman runs by and falls over his feet.

Next year’s draft is supposed to be a deep, full draft. Right on queue we are offering our next year’s picks at bargain basement..........right on queue.

It's not particularly difficult to trade back into the 4th round of a draft should we wish to do so.

Pick 8 - worth it every day of the week.

lucious lyon wtf GIF

Imagine an AFL footballer so bad, so soft, such a decoy, no intensity, that after 70 odd games you average just over a goal a game.

Schache would be free, he would be picked up to play 2s and fight for any spot in the side, Schache although maybe unlikely, only needs to improve a few areas of his game then would be a very good player.

The same could be said for any player in the comp. the reality is that it isn't likely to happen.
What about his game has you thinking that he's worthwhile?

Doggies crying out for forwards and contemplating Lobb from Freo. So they have had Schache at their club. They have been dying for a second forward and they are willing to let him go.

That is enough for me. If his on field persona and actions were more forceful, then maybe, but they aren’t. Passenger with capital P.

Just need to ask Jacob Weitering what he thinks, Jacob had Schache’s number ever day of the week in the Under 18’s.
