... and biggs might be going back to free up mcveigh..

He may also be used as backup in case Macca's knee doesn't make it through the game. If we do get a good lead up and McVeigh gets a bit sore Horse will want to pull him immediately for the week after. Ronnie could slot straight in.

(Ronnie ? Robba ? Choo choo ? What are they calling Mr Biggs ?)

Lamb, Biggs or Cunningham. I don't see the fuss with these ins. All seem to be good players but none are standouts. Biggs offers more in defence than Lamb so that's got to be his reason for coming in. Cunningham has quicker feet than Lamb and is probably seen as a good replacement for Rohan.

Lamb isn't stiff. He's just not the right piece for this weekend's puzzle. McGlynn is the one I feel sorry for. Missing last year's campaign, busting a gut earlier in the year and then putting in a luke warm performance against the Hawks only to be dropped for injury in a last chance final. Rohan should be OK. He was lucky to get any seniors action this year.

Just came over to wish you luck. You will guts it out, being along side us as one of the greatest teams, and know your players will find that extra. Kreutzer is limping all over our TV's here, suspicion about a toe operation. I think old Juddy and Murphy might have had their day out, they were certainly shit all year in the Supercoach comp. Here's hoping your midfield stays true to class, it rains red goals, and you go on to smash the purple goons.

Good match preview ! We should be in for a cracker on Saturday. Yes we are a little underdone but are still 14 wins and 2 losses against teams outside the top four this year and we haven't had our best 22 available all year. I would feel sick for the next 6 months if we lost to 9th placed Carlton on Saturday. I don't care what anyone says but they have been gifted a spot it the finals and certainly don't deserve it on the year they have had. Our boys need to put an end to their reign as they deserve to go no further ! Swans by 6 points

..still have memories of that brutal elim match in 2010.. ..reckon whoever wins, will still be feeling the battering next week vs freo.. ..looking at our team sheet, i'd be planning vs the squad, cos good chance a late change [or two] before the bounce..

Sending a physical message this week is more important than a big win. If we play a hard game, and brutalise like only the swans can, we will make freo very nervous for their nigh of nights at Pattersons next week. Still haven't lost hope of playing in the big one, but still very nervous about this game. Cannot wait for the first bounce

People talk about making the top 4, Beating Collingwood at the MCG and our floggings over Adelaide and West Coast as our highlights of the season.

Personally if we win this weekend (Even if its only by a point) being the team that knocks Carlton out of the finals is going to be pretty dam hard to beat (In fact the only thing better than beating Carlton is winning a Grand Final).

Personally I like our in's and out's... Yes it isn't Goodes or LRT but Bigg's didn't deserve to get dropped after playing Hawthorn and Cunningham has been pretty good so far this year.

I'm liking our ins and outs. It will be long and hard with no withdrawal. Thrust after thrust we must penetrate the opposition. We must get on top of them early and ram it home.

Wow... just wow.

I feel dirty now, and not in a good way.

They were also big outs.

For all the good it did us. Sometimes a key player out can even shuffle the deck to that team's advantage, (though a ruckman is possibly more of a vulnerability). The team psyche is most important. They're up and about and we'll have to play our best to beat them.

Malthouse is priceless. I'm paraphrasing his response to the press

"How the hell did you guys know Kreuzer was injured"
"We looked through the window in the canteen"
"What the ........you can do that ?"
"See through glass ? Yeah"
"Wow. You learn something every day"
