Do you have to bring up how bad Richmond are in the Association Football Matchday threads? I can't escape it
It was on topic of sorts this time I swear. Highlighting what can occur when one team is gash for decades (Spurs and Richmond) whilst the other is successful over decades (LFC and GFC). Means little for 2016 given improvements at Richmond and means little given the respective turns in fortunes of Liverpool and Spurs in recent seasons. That was my point.

Still not an easy place to travel though.

Welbeck might not be the greatest of finishers, but gee he works hard. Need more players with his work rate.

Reminds me of Dirk Kuyt. If Welbeck can make a similar contribution to Arsenal you'll be pretty happy. Every club needs their work horses. Not everyone can be a star.

Just saying you have a poor record at Anfield. If you have a trip to Chelsea too and your record is woeful there. You're gonna need Leicester to capitulate a bit.
I would put our chances of winning the league at no more than 20%. Leicester will drop points, but so will we will. I can't see how Leicester can drop 5 more points than we do which what it takes for us to be champions (assuming Arse and City are out if it now)

Honestly, not even worried about the title. We need Leicester to slip up and play near perfectly in the process. Unlikely to happen from here.

The damage most likely has already been done in that regard.

Does that make our season a failure. No it does not. 5th (should have been 6th if not for Stoke 6-1 over Liverpool) to 2rd-3rd and possibly beating Arsenal is marked improvement not to be sneezed at given iirc we've spent less than we've sold players for under the 4 transfer windows with Poch.

I never said your season was a failure. You're having a great season. Still in with a shout for the league title but you have a tough run in.

Hence why I am still furious we played the reserves v Dortmund.

We may still be in had we bothered to send out the line up used in the latest NLD.

May have still gone out but 5 points behind a side that's taking full advantage of squeaky bum time and doesn't look like dropping points and then tanking the Europa League. makes no sense, especially given he rested half the first team, so managed to bottle tanking :$

Yeah id be pretty annoyed if I were a Spurs fans sending out a second string side against Dortmund. Ruined the tie. Ruined it for fans too.
