Who could forget Cunningham's vile sustained on-air attack on Port Adelaide over its bid to gain an AFL licence. The word 'treachery' dripping from every slurred sentence over days and weeks.

Or the way he marched down to Alberton Oval with Security officers in tow the Saturday the story of Port's AFL bid broke in the news - deliberately and arrogantly standing in the the midst of members knowing full well that cameras would be filming everything (and then skulking off to the media centre at the back of the stand when he got exactly what he wanted on film for the evening news).

And there was this from Cunningham in 2011 when Port our club was at its lowest. More than keen to join in the kicking:

And in 2022 with a redeveloped Adelaide Oval built on the fortunes and courage of Port's brave decision to play in the highest level of footy in this country they decide to name the media centre after the guy who has always and will always hate us for being one thing - successful.

Nah. Feck right off. There is a time to move on from the bad behaviours of the past but that is not the same as pretending they never happened. Or, worse still, rewarding the bastard for his hypocrisy.

• his abysmal record
• the regurgitated Geelong testimonial carousel
• that he's good with the players.
• we can't afford to pay him out and won't
• Cornes is a massive hypocrite.

Quite comfortable with all that being printed and also smug satisfaction that Rucci has shot himself in the foot with his angle. Best thing about Rucci being on club payroll (and highlighting how stupid the club is) is that he's such a bitter dude that if we ever give him the chop he'll probably turn on us...

Because he'll fight tooth and nail to get every last red cent owed to him rather than discuss a negotiated settlement for the betterment of the club. He's within his rights to do this mainly due to the fact he and his manager played the club like a fiddle at every contract negotiation, but it says something about where his priorities lie.
