Finally we might see the AFL revoke Rowe's accreditation and he'll be gone.

He'd already got a message from the AFL about his outburst on Saturday night calling the umpires cheats and had to read out an apology on air last night. I know we do it and wouldn't necessarily disagree on occasions, but he's an official radio commentator. As biased as Eddie was when Collingwood were involved, even he would never have carried on like rowe.

For all of the s**t Port Adelaide people cop in their home state, it's funny how it's nearly always the crows and crow people who perpetuate all of the worst South Australian stereotypes so regularly on the national stage.

This is just peak SA Great on display. Cosi should devote an episode to Goalpost-Gate.
It's a well know story that after losing the 1958 Grand Final to Port after their final kick hit the post - a group of West Adelaide players broke into Adelaide Oval and chopped down the goal post - taking it back to the West clubrooms. A portion of it still sits behind the bar

Perhaps West Adelaide former board member and now Crows Chairman John Olsen can repeat history and get his good mate, former West Adelaide player and Crows Football Director Mark Ricciuto to do the same. Old mate KG can give them one of his zimmer frames to wheel the post back to West Lakes.

They've got the deputy Police Commissioner on the Crows board so they can get a police escort for it.

What gets me about all this is the support Adelaide are getting from everyone over in Melbourne (I don't mean on calls for compo though). If it was us, there would be very little discussion, which would mostly involve us being told to just suck it up because s**t happens.

Adelaide tend to get a pretty good run in general.

Gerard Healy has always had a boner for them (for reasons I still can’t pinpoint), and Jason Dunstall has an understandable soft spot after forming a key component of their independent review in 2019 which led to Nicks’ appointment.

And you’d think Dwayne Russell shared an entire packet of Fruchocs with Mark Ricciuto after a waterbag trip to Victoria Park, such is the way he fluffs them.

It's weird - their entire identity is kick-a-vic made manifest. I don't get why they're not more laughed at over there

The very worst kind of lawyer imho - vindictive, self centred and always with one eye on making a quick buck.

Notice how they throw in the line about his role in taking Port to the Supreme Court back in 1991. I wonder who inserted that - The Advertiser or Griffin. Has nothing at all to do with the umpiring mistake of course but paints him as a saviour for the crow faithful.

Why doesn't he just change his name to Saul Goodman and be done with it.

legitimately surprised every time i see KG that he's still alive. i thought he had one foot in the grave 20 years ago. are we entirely sure he hasn't been reanimated in this video?

I don’t understand why that decision ends up being the one that triggers an avalanche.

Apart from the oft-cited Jenkins and Shuey examples, the infamous Carlton game of 2015 featured:

• a FK count of 24-10 in a game decided by 4 points;

• a called back advantage goal (Dennis Armfield played on, kicked a behind, and made no mistake from the second go) despite that rule being tweaked to reduce such double-dips;

• the Carlton sealer from a ‘mark’ that clearly hit the ground (Lachie Henderson);

• a potential matchwinning mark and shot at goal belatedly denied (to Sam Colquhoun) in the dying seconds — with possession stripped completely — because a Carlton opponent (Kade Simpson) claimed he touched the incoming kick;

• Robbie Gray KO’d in a vicious pinned arms double-action sling tackle by Bryce Gibbs without so much as a free kick given (later deemed worthy of 2 weeks by the MRP), with the controlling umpire even telling remonstrating teammates there was “nothing in it”;

• An umpire doing a ‘Peter Carey (not that one)’ and intercept marking a Hamish Hartlett pass on the wing, stripping possession — as is the rule — with a ball-up.

Port finished 9th, missing the eight by 1 win, and had a superior percentage to North in 8th.

Where’s our million dollars? Where’s our more favourable draw?

Laughable.
That ****ing game…

There was 1.10 left on the clock ffs. There is absolutely no guarantee that, even if the goal was given, Sydney wouldn't have scored again, kind of like Motlop's showdown goal.
Maybe we just need to keep reminding them that Motlops goal took about 14-15 seconds. Best we just keep linking it to everything.
