What is so contentious?

Meanwhile McAdams jaw is broken and Elliot's head is in the underground Etihad carpark and nobody says anything
Yes.

Jonas wasn't concussed, like Alliir.
He wasn't unconscious.
He didn't lay motionless on the ground.
He didn't get hit on the headz and then hit his head again on the ground straight afterwards.
Didn't suffer major head damage, like McAdam.
Didn't stagger off or look wobbly or disoriented.
The impact was a glancing blow, not a full on traumatic and severe impact.

He cut his head near the eye socket.

Imagine if the butterfly effect of this decision contributes to us winning the flag. Penbo will have a stroke.
It certainly has the feeling that the AFL will make sure we are umpired more fairly now due to greater scrutiny.

Would be great!

What do these whinges suggest that the AFL actually do?

You lost a game because of a bad umpiring. So has every other club in dozens of other games. Would they like to just be handed a win, thereby robbing Sydney of the 1:10 they had left on the clock to pull a goal back?

It's over. It's done. You lose. It was unfair, so what? Life is unfair sometimes.

It’s not over until every last click has been squeezed from the outrage cycle.

No more unfair than the error free paid to Shuey in the elimination final of 2017. AFL admitted that was a error 6 months later. We cop it, nobody cares.

This is a club established on the back of claims of unfairness and treachery. A club founded on the back of court action to claim the hard work and success of others for themselves.

Whining and taking matters to court when they don't go their way is embedded in their DNA. And a statewide media infrastructure has been built to support the myth of entitlement.

Expecting them to act like mature professionals in a national sporting competition in a game dominated by guesses, miss-calls and vagaries of the bounce of an oval shaped ball is the equivalent of expecting an emu to fly.

Entitled whingers gonna whinge.
