"... She said Grundy may not be the sort of player you want at your club if he puts his lifestyle above his football future ...."

This is satire surely.

The head coach and it seems a large number of players have exactly that attitude at the Kenny Hinkley Football Club.

Made the mistake of listening to Kornes, Hodge and Healey discussing where it went wrong for us. Hodge and Healey fawned over what a great job Ken had done all year, elevating us from 11th to 5th with a lack of personnel. Kornes took his pot shot at Tredrea for thinking the only solution is to replace Hinkley with “Warren’s good mate Carr”, who he said should bear the brunt of our midfield issues in finals.

This man, Hinkley, is protected like no other species I have ever come across. It is mind blowing that only Tredrea and King even try to call him out.
Would Kane have a single mate across the multitude of teams he's been a part of? Tredrea, Carr, Hardwick, Kingsley, Dew would all have massive reasons to hate him, does he have anyone in his corner?

lol the grundy thing was ancient history and no one really even cared to begin with, what the **** is it even doing in the news cycle again?

That whole article was recycling what Caro said on Footy Classified on Monday night. The News Ltd AI journobots are slow and unimaginative.

Kane Cornes has been a lone wolf for years. He is friendless.

I haven't seen a bigger divide between the fans and the club/Kens media racket since he's been at the club.

They are in overdrive on the airwaves and in the papers, yet every fan I speak to Port or otherwise can't believe we re-signed him.

They can gaslight us and tell us were all insane as much as they want...the writing is on the wall

When other recent sackings occurred — David Teague, Brett Ratten and David Noble among them — does anyone remember feverish media-fuelled defences imploring critics to instead apportion blame to assistants, or list managers, or otherwise?

It's in the news cycle because they're trying to distract from Tredrea on Monday.

He hit a nerve and they're putting out the propaganda machine to try and distract everyone.

Tredders - if you read this - keep at them. They want us to forget. They want us to get distracted with all this other guff.

Every chance we get we have to remind them that we'll be here long after they've gone.

He really isn’t a people person. When he did his work experience with the firefighters, he didn’t introduce himself to anyone because he thought they should all know him already. Everyone called him Shane from then on

He has his media friends who love him for being the scumbag in their click generating frenzy.

He can say something shitty and they get to look smart. He’s money driven enough to play the patsy.

The prestigious Alf Brown Award for the year’s best overall media performer went to SEN’s Tom Morris.

The backlash came in thick and fast on social media with fans furious the industry was flaunting Morris 18-months after he was sacked.

The post on the social media platform went down like a lead balloon with users, with many calling out the AFL.

One user replied to the tweet: “Gerard I hope no man ever talks about your daughters the way Tom talks about women. And that they never see your endorsement of Tom as evidence it’s what they deserve.”

I'm sure Kane has awful taste in movies and that if he was told about this nickname, he wouldn't get the reference (I got it straight away)

...I actually don't mind Tom Morris lol

Almost every man has said far worse than what he got hung for, lets not pretend otherwise. Absolute idiot getting caught, and clearly not his finest moment but he got blown off the park for it. I'm ok with the punishment and return. It's not condoning what he did, and support the punishment but life long banishment for unprofessional comments is pretty rough.

I tracked down Whateley's endorsement of Morris.

Yep. No doubt said some dumb and offensive stuff to his mates, as almost everyone surely has. No doubt he should try and be better than that. The biggest villain in the whole thing is the absolute tosser who leaked the audio to the entire world. He's the one who actually hurt the woman in question (and Morris for that matter). And he did it to feed his own ego, not out of some morality crusade, let's be blunt.

What did he actually say? She's a great chick, she's hot, but unfortunately none of you guys have a shot because she bats for the other team. Like so?

I actually don’t mind Tom Morris as a footy journo. Whiteley just angers me so much now, I’ve switched off 360 completely this week.

I like Robbo’s drunk ramblings to be honest but that sanctimonious prick Whiteley has made the show unwatchable.
