Melbourne: what do we make of them

It is the softest draw of any of the contending sides. Missing top 4 from here after it being served on a silver platter would be a massive failure.
You reckon? Dogs get North, Gold Coast and the haven’t beaten anyone Dees twice.

Shouldn’t Dees twice be a challenge if you are as good as you say?
I’ve never said we’re good, haven’t beaten anyone. Dogs get 2 cruisey games against us

Dees players were acting they had won a GF halfway through that last quarter v Hawks ..... dancing around & hugging each other after a simple snap goal

Long way to go
Should have just been humble like the Saints and waited to be belted by 80 points in prime time instead

Did you forget that preseason match between Saints and Carlton?

Both fans were trying to be louder than Richmond in a prelim.

Could it be that, just maybe, they're all having fun playing well together and that there is a real sense of camaraderie within this group? Idk, I'm going out on a limb here...

In all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with celebrating wins or moments within a game, and to conflate that attitude by the team with a sense of complacency is an extremely reductionist approach.

They're connected. I like it. I just hope they don't get to the middle of the season and aren't like 10-2 or something and then get all serious.

I think they're good enough for a 15-17 win finish.

Sydney are nearly done - kids have hit a wall already. I'd be really disappointed if we didn't win that game comfortably.

The Tigers are a different story - should be a good test of game plans early in the year.
But you declared our time was done less than a week ago :(

Now we’re all of a sudden a test for the almighty Demons???

We will know more after this round.
The tigers are the best team still.
1. Tigers
2. Dogs
3. Port
4. Lions
5. Eagles
6. Demons

make no mistake about the lions. They are very much in the flag race. Guns on every line. Taking some time getting used to new forward line / neale/berry getting to 100%.

Right now demons are 6-10 team.
They have potential talent to be top 4 and they seem
to have recitified issues through the draft. However, they didnt get rid of the goodwin / richo combo. Horrible combo.
Demon coaches thats there problem.
5-0, but is it pure talent getting over the "not so good teams"?
imo yes.

We will find out this weekend though.
