Ticket members are members which get to vote.

Interstate members get to vote, how do i know? because at our last board election I voted

I assume you've got an Interstate 5 membership. If so, you are a non-ticketed member.

All non-ticketed members get to vote, same as ticketed members.
Both categories are Richmond members despite the AFL not counting non-ticketed members.

Ticketed = membership which gives access to finals tickets.
Non-ticketed = membership which doesn't have access to finals tickets.

Apologies Punt_Road_Roar, for the bit in bold. I should have confirmed. Have now.

Country/Interstate is "ticketed".
It only meets the qualification of non-ticketed but the AFL has sanctioned the condition that it counts as ticketed. Go figure.

Confusing. Still gives no access to finals tickets.

Makes me wonder if the AFL have also sanctioned the Hawks Aurora Stadium 4 game membership then. Would explain their influx in ticketed memberships.

How are we going compared to other teams?

Pretty average but thats thanks to the fact we dont have early sign up rewards or perks we go alowly but steadily higher.

The Hawks, Dogs, Dons, Blues and Saints all had things ranging from DVDs (Saints), Blues (Signed jerseys) and Dons (limited seating arrangement at TD has them all rushing in for best spot, applies to alot of other teams too).

So expect us to slowly catch the rest by round 1 as our supporters eventually sign up in there on own time.

Yup by about 1500 ticketed and 500 non-ticketed.

Good to hear. Now we have to narrow the gap between our membership and Essendon's who have 26,000 members at the moment. The only way to do that is have a good start to the year and have at least 5 wins after 11 rounds

We are currently on 18,321 I believe with about 10k unsigned from last year still.

Good to hear. Now we have to narrow the gap between our membership and Essendon's who have 26,000 members at the moment. The only way to do that is have a good start to the year and have at least 5 wins after 11 rounds

I would take the essendon figure with a grain of salt. Every year it seems they have 3000-4000 less then what their website reports.

Thats good to hear Tas. Would be pretty piss poor of your supporters not to buy a membership and support the team financially after such a gutsy decision to back the Melbourne supporter base over the move to the GC. Least they could do I reckon.

Yeah i haven't renewed mine yet but i really don't see the rush, with Christmas and holidays it's just easier to wait a bit, but probably would get it earlier if i had a reason to!

Exactly. However if you had an encouragement to you may have signed up pre-christmas. Im convinced this is what makes us so sluggish. Give some incentive to sign up RFC and rock us early!!

if they can make the finals it might be worthwhile, the big step backwards last season is a severe impediment to getting new members
