Ellie & Mon need to push forward more at the moment, we need the mid's to be scoring, as our Forward line is not functioning the way we need it too.

I know it sounds simple but looking at the points scored for the year on the ladder it’s pretty obvious we’re about 10 goals short of really competing for a flag. For the year.

Gould 23 shots 13 g 5 GA = 18 goals
Smith 24 shots 16 g 1 GA = 17
Randall 18 , 10g, 8 GA = 18
Wardlaw 18, 12g, 7GA = 19

KB 18, 9g, 2 GA = 11 goals
Grieser 18, 10g, 3 GA= 13 goals

There’s ten goals there in GA diff.

I get it that if we keep the ball in F50 we can create more chances and the oppo don’t have the ball etc.

But we are short on firepower. IMO

I agree, Shevlin can score from 40.

Grieser gets her goals within 15 mtr when KB is playing.
Courtney Jones has played 11 games for us and kicked a goal or more in every game except for two
Geelong and Adelaide.

Unless they send Elle forward somehow…dunno we want to change the mids too much.

No don’t mess the engine room of Moncon, sheerin who’s really found a gear and Ellie . We had more i50s last week but just couldn’t cash in . I’m a fan of cj can make a goal out of nothing , shevs is a nice kick and knows where the goals are

Yea the best sides seem to have a few very capable options in f50 , ours not so much . Now I’d the time for greisner to really step up , she’s threatened at times ,,,,cmon

This is the business end, if Ford had to be omitted because the coaches wanted a better scorer, I'd be Ok with that. Just don't know we have someone like that busting down the door - the problem with the comp as it runs this time of year is, it is only training results that helps someone bang down the door.

Hosko hasn’t had a shot on goal for 3-4 games , she tackles and that’s it . Retirement may well be beckoning. I’m pissed jones doesnt get a game , ford shouldn’t be keeping her out in such a big clash

They’ve brought in three FFlankers, two for sure and Voigt is a bit of a journey(man?) utility.
Georgia Gee, has kicked 2 goals in the last 23 games.
Amber Clarke, very quick. A couple of goals against the Dees and a couple against GC, played 9 games and 1 GA for the season.
Jacqui Voigt, played 5 games kicked a goal twice. But has played FF, BFlanker, FFlanker, RRover.

Amy Gaylor #23 for them is a bit of fav of mine, was hoping she ended up with us.
I think she’s a beauty.

Was looking at all the possibilities over the last two rounds (including possibly losing both matches) and kept coming to a probable Elimination Final clash with Ess.

Off topic I know but I’m interested to see how WB Eleanor Brown goes on her possible return (named on an extended bench) this week after missing virtually 2 years of footy. I don’t believe it’s injury related.

Thought she was a fine defender. If she needs a change to kick start her career and if she is in the right headspace I think we should definitely explore.

Good player before her season (nearly 2) out "personal circumstances". Doggies played one light on their list last season list. Highly rated I think.

Well, Hawks are unstoppable it seems, so there is potentially one loss perhaps. This week is crucial!

Hawks have really come from the clouds and are playing damn fine footy. Will be an interesting game for us.

Wasn't sure about their list build at the start when they brought in a heap of their VFLW players but their drafting and trading in since has been outstanding. Their coaching has also gone to next level. Wasn't a Goddard fan as a coach.
