We had our chance to win the premiership in 05/06, 12 and 7 by building a list to contend for one every 6 years without bottoming out but weren't good enough to win it. We lose players for money or go-home factor as they are chase by clubs as they are good due to our development but it depends on who we drafted/recruited and what year. This year, Sloane, Lynch and Seedsman all re-signed despite all being chased with the go-home and money, also Doedee extended his contract by 2 years. But even though we lose good players, we develop others to take their place, i.e. Sloane when Dangerfield left (and Milera is looking good from the pick we got for Dangerfield), Doedee for Lever.
