From the three quarters I saw:

CEY gets a lot of it but uses it poorly.
Going to be a long year watching JJ float around doing nothing except getting in the way. Has no idea how or where to position himself.
Lyons and Grigg are the future
Tex quiet but still makes his presence felt. Love him
Thomas and Ziebell still filthy divers
Getting killed by the umps
North have no backline today, don't get too excited.
Still cannot run games out. Horrendous last quarter. Hopefully it's just a fitness thing that will improve as the season progresses.
O'Brien looks decent but he is the worst kick in the history of kicking.
Tackling still meh.

Takes time to turn the ship around. Not a one pre-season thing and I think we'll see it crop up. Got to keep in mind it's preseason though.

Good performance, we proved we could batter North even with a less experienced side. We slowed down massively in the last quarter because we knew we wouldn't lose.

Even with North running away with it he continued to have players like Ellis-Yolmen and Martin starting in the mids. Clearly had something he wanted to try out, regardless of the scoreline. Lets calm down a little?
