Good performance, we proved we could batter North even with a less experienced side. We slowed down massively in the last quarter because we knew we wouldn't lose.

Right, 50 points up at 3qtr time. I know we all like to say "it's pre-season, no-one cares about these games", but the last thing I want now is to put the brakes on and hold on to win by a couple of goals or, at worst, lose. Need to keep pushing them all the way.

Yeah, can't take much out of the last. Definitely a lot of experimenting going on by Walsh.

Walsh in the last qtr put the test on the likes of CEY and Martin

It would have been easy to keep Sloane, Crouch and Lyons in the square but this is a game for no points so he needs to see what others bring to the table

A win is great for the players however other than that we need to hold any praise or criticism of the team

I see the game for what it is. I'm not pretending its a prelim. But "elite standards" and "no short cuts" and "build a winning culture" don't mesh with that sort of lame fade out. Hope they get reminded what elite standards means.

I didn't see any desperate moves or tactics to suggest Walsh would be too perturbed. He will have to say it's not good enough of course, but I don't think he's going to go home and smash a vase.
