Surely there's something he needs to work on that made him slip to 40. What is it?
Endurance is the concern, but with the attitude tbarker has suggested he has, he will build that tank over the next 3 years for sure. I'll say this about Brandon: I've seen both he and Lonie play for Country and the Stingrays over the past couple of the years, I rated both well above our third round picks. I'm just as excited with Brandon at 40 as I was with Lonie at 41 last year.

Brandon White's kicking seems unbelievably good. It's better to draft a good kick , as very few players actually improve from bad kicks to good kicks. Some improve marginally , but it is rare for someone to improve the way Stewart Leowe did. Seize your opportunity Brandon , and welcome to the Mighty Saints.

@BrettAndersonIF: @Spicy_Tysie White rated inside top 20 by multiple clubs.
I'm always surprised when we manage to get a highly rated after pick 30. Newnes, Webster, Lonie, Mckenzie, Sinclair all super picks for a third round or later pick. Hopefully White turns out something similar!

How good:

Haha at the start you can hear them say we like St Kilda. I think he thought Bailey was being selected at 40 when he mumbles Bailey Rice before the pick is read out.

Correct. He thinks it's Bailey getting selected then his name is read out. Love it :D You can tell he's extremely proud to be at St.Kilda :thumbsu:

He's a magnificent footballer, a taller version of Nick Dal Santo at the same age.
Will transition into a Bontempelli type through the midfield once he builds his tank. He is also 189cm, not 188cm as the AFL data suggests.

He was my dream selection from mid last year, probably the most I've personally watched a TAC footballer for the last 18 years.

Excited beyond belief, as Pers will probably tell you the Saints lads also were when they selected him.

I recall you using 'Fyfe' as a comparison in May or June ;)

It's just such a great reaction, similar to Goddard and Paddy last year, add that to Rice nominating us and it's just good to see players wanting to come to the saints
So true.
Add to that, Carlisle was so excited to be coming to the Saints he celebrated with a big line

Does anyone know how many possessions he averaged?
If my hurried maths is correct;

TAC Cup - 16 games

• Avg 15.9 possessions (69.8% eff.)
- 11.3 kicks (74.2% eff.)
- 4.6 handballs (59% eff.)

• Avg 3.6 marks (0.56 cont.)
• Avg 2.2 tackles
• Avg 4.4 handball receives
• 9 times in Bests

Best Game - vs Nth Knights
• 32 possessions (56.25% eff.)
- 23 kicks
- 9 handballs
• 10 marks (2 cont.)
• 2 tackles
• 9 handball receives

Over the 3 games he played
Avg 7 kicks
Avg 3.7 handballs
Avg 1.7 marks
I got this information from the AFL website.
That's U18 Champs.

It'll be interesting to see what positions he develops into.

He's not quite Dempster's height to be a third tall defender and we have Mr Artwork for the 3rd tall up forward.

Our midfield seems crowded with Acres/McKenzie/Roberton jostling for the tall defensive winger type role, plus 2016 picks to come.

Really, we might see him in 2017/18 depending on his aerobic improvement where he fits. Endurance is something everyone not just AFL players can improve with hard work. It'll be a challenge given the reduced rotations on offer.
