England have Brook and Root as their genuine gun batsman, the others are nothing special who benefit from being told to play shots to hide deficiencies in their techniques, Crawley and Duckett as examples. Bethell is the same, looks good when he lets loose but good bowling will find him out. Let's hope the Kiwis put them under pressure while batting now.

Duckett is fine. He’s an opener in England who averages over 40 and has a strike rate in the 80s.

Hes not a world beater, he’s definitely no mug though either. The rest are just filler to occasionally play an important innings

why is that? Am sure Bellerive Oval is more scenic than the Gabba, but as a small city there's a reason it's rare to have a test there. Auckland is NZ's biggest city, so i would've thought it'd make more sense to play there.

Eden Park is not a proper cricket ground for a start, it is a rugby ground that they convert into a badly shaped cricket ground.

Auckland doesn't attract big crowds for test cricket either, it attracts big crowds from theatre goers for the white ball matches.

Plus it's the size of a postage stamp. I remember NZ making 250-odd in a T20 and then Aus comfortably chasing it down.

Thoughts and prayers for Plugger. Getting reamed at home by a minnow nation :$
Brave talk from a supporter of a team that is one nil down against a team that the Black Caps beat three nil on their home deck.

Two World Cup winning heavyweights of cricket going toe-to-toe.
You've got a World C.... Oh!

You choked against choking minnows in a final ;)

The 2019 World Cup drawn final is now widely regarded as the greatest ODI of all time, better than the 1999 Oz v SA semi final.

Keeper is at the crease - always trouble for England especially when the keeper has a fern on his whites.

Can double agent o’rourke continue his fine batting form?
