The same Crawley who averages 10 across 19 innings against NZ? Lol

I was being sarcastic, getting Crawley out early isn't much of an achievement.

Duckett and Bethell are proving to be tougher to dismiss and are making this pitch look easier to bat on that we made it look.

Bethell impressive again, I think he could be in this England test team to stay, he is the sort of attacking batsman McCullum likes.

He could possibly replace Crawley as an opener when Jamie Smith returns as their keeper and Pope goes back to batting at no.3.

As for NZ, we need rain to save this test now, there are some showers forecast for tomorrow but I don't think that will be enough.

We need some Sydney style torrential rain over the next few days.

The dangerman Crawley gone, we are right back in it now.
Mate NZ are so far out of it, it's not funny.....not even sure Indian conquerors in Patel, Santner and Young culd save them if playing...time for NZ to prepare dust bowls, so those 3 can get selected at home....

Southee isn't having much of a retirement series.

He probably wishes that he retired after the Indian 3-0 series win and gone out on top.

He has been a great bowler for NZ over a long time but he has gone on for a bit too long.

Do people in this thread not get sarcasm?

Unfortunately the DJ at the ground there has only been playing songs from English bands.

This song was quite appropriate for us though.

Just as I speak we have managed to get Brook out so the Black Caos are right back in it again.
