What does that mean for the high profile Under 19 coach that was appointed by Heidelberg? You sort of expect Heidelberg not to have one, but that's a bit disappointing for Hurstbridge.
Probably concentrate on coaching Diamond Creek
HBg tried to decimate other Under 19 programs in the area and failed miserably. Money isn't the answer at that level.

This should help Mont as they cannot field a 2nds side without up to 12 U19s backing up. Stay tuned for a 3rd U19s withdrawing from Div 1.....

Lets hope sanity prevails and the 2 sides who were drawn to play Heid and Hurst will now play each other. Otherwise, Macleod 19's who were supposed to play both these side in the first 2 rounds, will not have a game until April 29
Offered them massive overs to get the team together. So club has a fair say in the behaviour and strategy of the "two".

Who knows where any club will be in 20 years?
When I played,both West Heidelberg and Lalor were the power clubs and Lalor was filled with players from their juniors.
I don't follow Heidelberg but have enjoyed watching some great players when I have seen them play.
Surely having ex AFL and top line metro and country players running around in the NFL is a good thing

How many juniors sides do heidelberg have this year? Surely under 19's are just a matter of time, won't be long until they won't need to throw cash to get players.

History also shows since 1876, Heidelberg have never found any culture, something (unfortunately) money can't buy.
They will be known as a successful club with no heart or soul.

Game of two halves at Panther yesterday, St Albans jumped Eltham to lead all half and then with a few structure changes Eltham looked pretty good and ran away with a win. Not sure how many St Albans had out but heard a few, Eltham had one or two watching as well. Overall a preccy match and looked like it with differing game plans and structures happening.
Pretty decent crowd as well, great to have local footy back.

Hey Syphilis, so if HFC recruited Walker, Stokes, Saad etc it'd be all about the so called Culture issues, W P do it and it's a master stroke. As for the Culture of the place I would of thought it hard to win both senior and reserve premierships particularly with the likes of Favrin, Nolan , McNamara, Beers, Cookson etc running around in the reserves if the Culture was no good. That was Favrins sixth premiership after starting his career at the club with the tackers, a lesson in club Culture pretty hard to beat.
