Diamo coach Craig Hayes is one of the better blokes getting around. Class act on and off the fieldMy comments while negative are still constructive. Get rid of that roach of a coach and club will be much better off. How is that not constructive?

Maybe overall he is, I don't know the man that well but from what I witnessed last week and previously before that's not the picture he is painting. However Ill take your word for it.Agreed. Absolutely legend of a bloke
Mmmm....perhaps you should ask the Diamo coach for some answers as to why Boomer would say such a thing.
My guess is when a senior coach acts the way he did last week, it tends to create a negative reflection on the club he coaches.
The club staff and volunteers I'm sure are great people but while diamo is lead by such a person the club will remain an irrelevant mediocre embarrassment.
Yeh he "seemed" great. Oh I'm sure the AFL wouldn't make a you Premiership CUP Ambassador if you were a shit bloke.Hayes seems like a very nice fella. Won't find one person from opposition teams or club people that can say the same about boomer
Agreed, family friends with Craig and even his tenure down at Eltham was great. Doing good things down at hfc tooDiamo coach Craig Hayes is one of the better blokes getting around. Class act on and off the field
I get it, I get it. He is a good bloke that says and does shit things when he gets a little adrenalin going. Think there is a name for that. Ah yeah, small man syndrome.Agreed, family friends with Craig and even his tenure down at Eltham was great. Doing good things down at hfc too
There is always a minority of supporters at every club that are poorly behaved. Just don't expect it from a senior coach in this day and age.I find it hilarious when north supporters get out their moral compasses and criticise opposition coaches/supporters some of the worst behaviour has occurred at Shelley Reserve.
Yeah, Boomers not the only thing new at Nth this season. They've gone out and purchased a few ivory towers to sit upon, so they can tell everyone else how good they are and how to behave. Unbelievable!!!I find it hilarious when north supporters get out their moral compasses and criticise opposition coaches/supporters some of the worst behaviour has occurred at Shelley Reserve.
I know they are getting their lights upgraded but I doubt they be using ivory. Maybe your thinking of Heidelberg, they have been known to splash the cash.Yeah, Boomers not the only thing new at Nth this season. Care to elaborate Brutal on those ivory towers we may have purchased outside of Boomer.Yeah, Boomers not the only thing new at Nth this season. They've gone out and purchased a few ivory towers to sit upon, so they can tell everyone else how good they are and how to behave. Unbelievable!!!
The Stars just don't seem to have the want or desire to progress from just being a participant in finals.

As far behaviour goes, no one needs to be told that acting like 16 year hormone charged school boy is not appropriate for a senior coach. Would have thought that was a given.
Well that ends that debate. if you haven't seen it, must not have happened.Let's just add the 2017 YJFL Youth Coach of the Year to the record of Craig Hayes.
Yet to see any examples of inappropriate behaviour.
Leaders of club fully aware of that & if u look at the list since end of 2015 has changed substantially with a focus on youth with a few experienced heads to add experience that was needed after last year's result in the GF.North may very well win the flag with a leg in the air, it's not going to solve their problem. Once upon a time North had a strong junior club and unless they have kids feeding through it's not going to be sustainable. Their neighbours are the exception to this rule. Once 3x Harvey's have hung them up I can't see them achieving long termDivision1 success.

Arrangements in place with Bundoora Thunderbolts JFC, West Ivanhoe Roosters in immediate area so addressing the junior thing. Under 19s is a big challenge but many others face same dilemma but at least we have them & will continue to do so in 2018 whether in Div 1 or 2.
Financially in a sound position however won't be going crazy & chase imports only to see them go after 1/2 years, the points system will determine that anyway but can say with confidence that the club if we win the flag is in a 100% better position than last time around in 2014.
The talk may be similar but circumstances are vastly different. See a previous post of mine. All this talk about how NH are going to go in Div 1 next season and beyond.. Looks familiar from the type of stuff posted this time last year....
For the record i think NH will win it, but stranger things have happened..
Club won 2 games in 2015 knocking off Mont & putting Heidelberg out of finals later in year & realistically could have nailed another 3 with poise & belief but in the end not good enough.Good to see NH addressing the path forward, and I agree, you are better placed this time around if you get back to Division 1. It's such a competitive beast though and the reality is, last time in D1 from memory you only won 1 game. The bottom 3 this year won 5 games and the relegated team did knock off the ladder leaders, so I personally think you will be fighting for relegation again if you get there.
Talk last year was not coming from NH people (as there are only a few of us on here) if that was the case as for those who watched the 2nd Semi Hurstbridge was right in it. Rest is history there in Div 1 & good luck to them & great work for surviving & we are not.All this talk about how NH are going to go in Div 1 next season and beyond.. Who would be best placed to stay up if they went up? What would each club need to help them survive? Just curious as to everyones thoughts!
