Reminds me of early 2019 when it was expected Melbourne would come good again based on 2018 form. In reality it was never going to happen. That lead Richmond had is the type of lead Melbourne would have conceded in 2019 as well.

As much as Schmutt and TK bag them id hate playing Sydney, they always play us tough. Playing Freo at subi in a qualifying final and facing Sydney at the G in a semi final the following week coming off a loss would be the ultimate nightmare scenario for me. Definite chance of a straight sets exit.

Who cares if there's a fingernail high it's not dangerous at all. Keep it to head high only and it would be way easier to adjuticate.

Problem is whilst some umpires are cluing onto it (Ginnivan getting nothing from the umpires now) some still get sucked in. As we've said before this encouragement of players playing for high free kicks is going to see someone actually break their neck doing it one day and the players/AFL will have no-one to blame but themselves.

You just need to say that you were on to this 4-6 weeks ago and are amazed that all other Melbourne supporters think that Ben Brown is a superstar, concerning etc.

Get rid of the high contact rule, it's not gonna make the game more dangerous because if you touch the head its still a free and it'll mostly stop blokes ducking into tackles or raising an arm because its not an auto free now. I ****ing hate the arm raise and how easily umps fall for it and then morons like David king saying it challengers the tackler. Rubbish, if you start the tackle legal and it's forced up that's not bad technique that's cheating
