They got offered a kings ransom last season before draft. They knocked it back. They'll get maybe Pick 8 and next years first rounder from PA. Not sure that's a kings ransom. Better off without him though as he just looked disinterested this season. I wonder if he ponied up and told Clarko himself? Doubt it. The draft is becoming a bit of a joke nowadays with young players wanting out asap.

Maybe, but essendon still have brought it on themselves, where North would have had no idea when hiring Clarkson that he had these allegations hanging over him. Definitely have no sympathy for essendon.

I finished it recently. Must admit I was hoping for more behind the scenes info, but I found it more of a chronological history of the club, much of which I already knew (especially after reading The Red Fox, the book about Norm Smith).
