Lynch has to go for that knee, if the AFL has any sort of integrity left.
Stevie J went for a knee like it... but he's not Lynch so it will be ok.

GO Catters

I wonder if Lynch received his rightful punishment for his 1st indiscretion this year whether there would've been a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and now 5th indiscretion. Somehow I doubt it.

Who would have thunk it...Tom Browne defending "nice guy Lynch"....

And yes, Tom doesn't seem to know how to reply to himself on Twitter when he's creating a running feed, so rather he just starts new tweets; and I've seen others trying to give him advice on how to neaten things up

And probably shouldn't surprise too many - but he also decided to defend Cotchin

It's kinda like he has a side gig with Richmond where after a player's on field indiscretion, its his job in the media to get on top of things before there's too much negative publicity and play down the incidents

Browne is such a suck up little weasel. What an absolute piece of garbage.

It must be a condition of the restraining order that he needs to publicly defend them at every opportunity.

Half of Browne’s Cotchin analysis on whether he misses or not is based on “it’s a preliminary final.”

He’s either guilty of the offence or he’s not, doesn’t matter when it is. I wonder if he was singing the same tune when Danger’s Kreuzer tackle in 2017 potentially cost him a Brownlow. Probably not.

EDIT: What do you know:

Don't think the AFL got the reaction they hoped when they posted this message - haven't seen a single message supporting their notion, instead they're more like this response

Could have underlined it or put a star next to the sentence instead of a circle that makes half of it unreadable.

so it's a 'finals' discount then...well if that's the case, pick out an important player on other side and go in knees high in a spoil attempt, lay a knee in to cork, or drive them into the ground on a tackle. Cop the fine, no problem. They want to play on the edge, show them the edge then.
I'd do it early, if I was at Port, and let the fkr know if he tries any of that shit, it'll get worse.
I've done it in US football and in soccer, admittedly with red mist, but the message was received.

Not sure a suspension would even change things - the coach supports the players for their actions as apparently they are hard & tough...

edit: not sure how the Tigers are playing really is "playing on the edge" - if any other team was conducting themselves in the same manner it wouldn't be considered tough, but rather the questions would be around ill discipline & suspension

What a flog Hardwick is. Happy to praise hard and tough footy yet regularly whinges & cries about his poor players' being picked on by umpires.

What a complete & utter dickhead.
