Shame Dixon is up the other end of the field. You think he is going to cop that?

Alternatively, shame Scarlett, Rooke and Mooney are retired. They would have punked Lynch out like the b*tch he is.
I thought this myself - then I realised that they used to play with each other...

(and also play in the same team together... boom tish 🤣)...

I don’t ever remember Chris Scott condoning when Hawkins was suspended for dumb s#it. Pretty sure he and Tom said that they were disappointed.

I can still remember 186 when Scott came down from the coaches box mid-match to have words with Chappy telling him to calm down when Lynden Dunn was getting under his skin. Doubt we'd ever see Hardwick do the same.

Does Sydney have any say in the matter
Nope - other clubs are just meant to do what Collingwood want them to do...

And to be honest, based on his output this year I'm not sure Grundy is worth pick 4...12 months ago you pay that really without a second thought, but something wasn't right this season, and whether that was an underlying injury issue, not adjusting to the hub life or just being comfortable with a long term deal on good money, you'd want to know more before handing over such a high pick

Hardly apples with apples, to be fair.

Lynch has not once been suspended for all the dumb (and cowardly) acts of his recent career, for a start.

Only because the AFL keeps fining him. Should have gone for the head push on Witherden. Should have gone for the gut punch on Collins.

Hawkins gets a week for the punch on Collins. Why didn't Lynch?

Why don't any of Richmond's name players, including Cotchin & Martin.

Only have to look @ entitled Houli appealing to the PM.

I genuinely believe that if Lynch tries some of his faux tough sh*t & an opponent is willing to give it back, suddenly we won't see faux tough Lynch and instead he'll go crying to Hardwick that his opponent was mean to him...

Then we'll see Hardwick whining & whinging in his post match press conference about his players not being protected, unfairly treated etc, and ignoring that his players are amongst the worse at the faux tough sh*t at the moment

Can't wait to see the next Lynch/Sam Collins matchup to be honest. Collins won himself a lot of fans in the way he handled Lynch's shit so amicably last time, but I think next time he'll let him have it

Don't think for a second I'm suggesting Lynch shouldn't have copped a week off for any of the ridiculous and gutless acts he's come up with across this year. Nobody would have less sympathy for him than me.

In the end, it's actually difficult to work out which is more inane. The number of innocuous matters that have seen Toma smashed from pillar to post by the MRP/MRO over his career. Or the 'Teflon Tom' antics of Lynch this year that have never seen him cop even a single week off.

Add to that the supposed 'good bloke' discount that Lynch is getting through all his indiscretions (which Toma never once got, despite the fact he is clearly regarded by many as the very best of potential teammates across the entire league), and you just end up wanting to scream, really.

If it wasn't such a clear example of bias, it would be absolutely laughable.

Hope Gil hasn't got his mates at 7 involved.
Saw he sat with Pies on the weekend.
Maybe he and Hamish clashed re cats as kids

One of the highlights of watching the replay, the look on Eddies' face when Gil (sitting in the row in front of him) rubbed his fingers together as in a 'show me the money' gesture :D

Oh please Dimma, Port players just have to watch their back as the only thing Lynch does is hit blokes when they aren’t looking.
was gonna say the same thing... they know he wont get them front on... that means they'd have to see him coming and he's too chicken shit to do that.

GO Catters

I think Grundy would certainly be someone who would struggle with the hub life. Strikes me as a real thinker, not someone who would easily fit into the football 24/7 mode whilst technically being on a never-ending school camp with 36 energised boys club bellends.

I couldnt even imagine the quality of the dinner table banter with blokes like DeGoey, Stephensen, Elliot and Mason Cox.

Insufferable for an intellectual sort.
