15 scoring shots in a quarter. Wow.

However I don't think this is over. Looked like so many things fell perfectly for Sydney. Buddy took multiple contested marks. He could go 10 games without getting one.

The Dogs midfield is one of the most overrated things in footy. Looks nice on paper but full of low impact crabs who love an easy possession. They will regularly have 6 of the 8 highest disposal winners whilst also having 8 of the lowest 10. If they had the option to swap out Treloar and Dunkley for an elite key defender then they would be a miles better team.

I know Treloar was a steal but they really didn't need him and should of gone after a key defender instead.

Watching the Dogs...I have to ask...Is Ugle Hagan a dud?

Meant to be the best since Carey....... now looks totally underwhelming, not only in this game either.

Looks below average right now.

Give him 4-5 years. That's how long it took Hawkins.

That said, Tom had quite a few cameos over that time - he was just horribly inconsistent.

I don't recall anyone saying he was going to be the best since Carey. I remember people being all over Jonathan Patton as the best number one in years - Emma Quayle was particularly bullish - but in fairness, he was tracking very, very well until injuries.

But we all know that tall forwards take a very long time, even those taken in the top couple of picks. Come to think of it, they've been kind of cursed - Tom Boyd of course played the game of his life then left the whole system. Paddy McCartin was concussed out of recognition. Then there's Schache, who was a huge bust, and the King boys who are on track to be absolute stars. Thilthorpe and Logan McDonald are looking ok, too.

Don't expect miracles.
