I switched it on with 5 mins to go and have watched an absolute crapfest from the Hawks.

If this isn't deliberate tanking, they're going to need a LOT more than a #1 draft pick to save them.

Nothing better tjhan seeing the Hawks lose on the buzzer... but they had this one and let it slip.

Useless colours and useless club lol

Haven't been rapt in either of these teams for a long time, but I think the Saints are definitely due for a flag.
Closer to it than Carlton as they are now generally better defensively and more consistent pressure on opposition with the footy. Carlton just not there they have some pieces but overall there's a flimsiness to them that the genuine contenders each year won't have.

The difference between playing Adelaide in Adelaide and in Geelong is massive. In Geelong I would be disappointed if they laid a finger on us. In Adelaide it would be in the "type of game we usually lose" category.

Fair point, along with the "we always lose after a bye" category of games.

We should have lost that Port game last year too but we turned that around. Same goes for the bye games, both mid-season and pre-final.

That's not to say we're definitely going to beat Adelaide in Adelaide, but considering we're only going to play them this year at GMHBA (with the exception of finals), I'm less fazed about our prospects.

one job Hawks...

one ******* job.

They almost won that by mistake, lucky Mitchell refused to put a player behind the ball for the final few minutes.
Otherwise, they might have lost their position in the Harley Reid sweepstakes
