They might be jumping the gun, and won't know fully until tomorrow. Only a pies entitled feral could think excess money will buy you a "good" seat, and many of them are complaining about getting seats in the Gods or standing room. They were given no promises for their money, except a GF ticket. Cry me a river, when crowd numbers were 95% Pies, 5% GWS.All this moaning has created one interesting development, and that's Ticketek's admission that there is no (phone) queue and never has been.
Did LOL at that, for all the times we've jumped on at 9.01 for absolutely no advantage.

The two on channel 9 news i really felt sorry for until they finally mentioned they had standing room/restricted view tickets like, come on.

And fwiw the latter can be awesome tickets. I had restricted view v pies match. Third row from the front, you cant see a couple meteres down the right hand boundary line. Like boo hoo cry me a river

I love how the news journos dig out two mouthy old moth bitten sheila's that are actually going, just not going where they wanted.
Imagine the legitimate cases out there that are better examples of being completely stiff. Oh wait. That's tomorrow's news.

I'm just confused how P3 got tickets in the first place, especially for a Collingwood GF where the demand is higher. During the 07-11 I was always P2 and there was roughly a 25% chance of getting tickets in the ballot? (I was successful in 2, with the other one a friend registered and was successful) I assumed P3 had basically no chance, but I guess not.

The AFL should have told the “Lollingwood” people there was an IQ and a Spelling test, and also a dental check pass required before “Good” tickets were issued

I did feel bad for this one Priority 1 Pies supporter though. Ticketmaster said there was not enough money in her bank but there was more than enough and the bank had zero record of them even trying to take the money for tickets out. After the journalist contacted Ticketmaster, the issues was "miraculously" solved. Ticketmaster being dodgy there.

As for P3 getting tickets as another person was commenting, good! Every member should have a chance at the GF ticket, no matter how much money they can afford to give to the club. I'd hate for it to get to the point that only the richest people can see their team win a flag in person. It's pretty much that bad already. Give the people doing it tough a chance for a once in a lifetime experience. It is already a long shot and if they get a ticket as a P3, I couldn't be happier for them.

Which teams Aust wide - in the last say 10-15 years have won Premierships in those beautiful blue and white hoops

There is a team in the Bendigo league - Strath something - a powerhouse - won multiple flags

There is a team down in Tassie - might be a country league - called the CATS in the Geel colours - won a few flags - there was an ABC TV story behind that - quite a few years back - i can remember watching it - and they were Geel supporters as well

I saw this but technically they are a merger of two existing clubs who both perished after 1996

As opposed to say Sydney which is a club that relocated from south Melbourne, hence their accolades remain

Wasnt even a proper merger but a takeover Fitzroys flags arnt even counted as part of Brisbane Lions a know a lot of old Fitzroy fans refused to switch to supporting Brisbane Lions

You know I dislike a lot of sides and their supporters...but North Melbourne...I genuinely am just sick of them as a club and as a supporter base.

Everything about them reeks of desperation, pity, misplaced arrogance and just being straight up pathetic. Asking for Priority picks 2 years in a row, like it's their god given right...then pretending they still have this 'Shinboner spirit' - is another thing that just irks me to no end.

They seriously are the most pathetic club in the league. Even if they do somehow make Finals in the next few years, they won't have earned it; they'll just have been handed it by the AFL and its assistance. Whether it be monetary, pick wise, or any other form of assistance, they simply are a club filled with supporters that have no pride or respect for themselves or the organisation they follow.

All year they've been gunning for Pick 1 and Harley Reid...didn't get that...on to McKay and Pick 3...then Riley Sanders as an NGA outside the draft...then begging for Priority picks and getting 3 end of 1sts...after being given Griffin Logue

All the other non competing clubs should agree to hand their allocations to the competing clubs

They won't though because they can sell them for $1,500 each with a McMuffin and not be called out for what it is, legalised scalping

As an outsider, the whole counting of flags and which ones can be included and which ones can't, just seems so petty and chauvinistic.

I don't know exactly how many they get but it is a start. For as long as they hold them the clubs lose the right to whinge about the MCC etc.
