I think the Raiders should be pretty disappointed with their efforts on Sunday, too many little blokes who get knocked off the ball, not enough physical presence out on the ground whilst continually turning the ball over with hand or foot across the centre of the ground. They are in desperate need of some size and experience but give them credit they got to a 1st semi with a team of locals and on a shoe string budget.:thumbsu:

Very well said. Valid points they need to hit the
Gym hard and I think with bigger body's around them they should find it easier going. As for recruits heard there quality after lambert said they would play off in a preliminary or grand final next year. Big call. Let's hope it's right though not for them but the league. Anyone see lavi ruck man king hit a few raiders last Week Very lucky I'd say.

I'd suggest you look at the vision from the match before your next comment. Fast forward the 1st Quarter to the 25min mark. You'll see hamilton tackle little hibberson, he then gets knocked over by Meyer and the other Hibberson. You'll then see Meyer run away from an angry Hamilton, Hibberson hit Hamilton, Hamilton hit Hibberson twice and then about 10 blokes all come in and do nothing for 20 seconds.
At 25:23 you'll see Brown king hit Luke McNeil as he restles with Josh McCudden. At this point Stevens crowd surfs over the pack trying to get at Brown. That's where it all stops!

The only lucky bloke out of it all was Luke McNeil - lucky not to have a broken jaw.

You might want to check what you are saying. Hamilton nearly took out the little hibberson and also last time we played he took out a thirds player as he ran on the ground for his first senior game.. Knocked his confidence.

An angry Hamilton hit first, and if Brown had hit McNeil he wouldn't have been able to play on.

So get your story right if you are going to make a statement and yes I have watched to footage you might want to watch it in slow motion.

If I was you I would forget about sunday and concentrate on your next encounter because they want stand back and be hit.

Robbo & Centrehalfbench, you blokes pull your heads out of each others arses.. I bet you havnt seen the footage and if you want proof and how much of a dog Aiden Brown is check out the photos from last week on the border mail. Perfect shot of a young kid getting sniped from behind.
Piss week.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Tim Sanson :D:thumbsu: Haha some of the funniest stuff I have heard this season. He was mocking Zac Obrien about his criticism of the press and it was gold. Any one else manage to catch it?

This is all history, but I just want a few imbeciles on here to see what I saw last week. I dunno whether the image will work, so check out the picture for yourself on the website via the link above. Yes, Brown did hit Luke and Yes Luke did play on. In the image you'll see clearly that Luke has no idea he's about to be hit or who will hit him, that all points to a king hit in my eyes! And as I'd said in an earlier post it all occurred at 25:23 in the 1st quarter while Luke McNeil was having a friendly wrestle with Josh McCudden.

If you think you can mount an argument against this evidence, I can't wait to hear it.

My argument Mr Sanson is that the photo is inconclusive. It looks as if he was just being a good mother to Mr McNeil and giving his ears a big wax clean out with a cotton bud or two.

Was at the lavie v raiders game and i dont think there was anything in it i think u will find brown slung him back? Think the photo is bad yes but i think ur making a fuss out of it

You're right. I started making a fuss after one of the Lavi players was accused of dishing out king hits... "Anyone see lavi ruck man king hit a few raiders last Week"... I've never denied he threw a few punches, but I can't believe some of you are still in denial about the 'raider boys' doing the same.

Anyhow. Morris Medal tonight. My tips
1st Grade - Schilg, Daly and M Stevens
2nd Grade - M Cummins, K Oates and Kerr
3rds - No idea.

And this weekend
1st Grade - Albury by 24 points - Medal to Carey.
2nds - Yarra by 45 - Medal to Cummins
3rds - Rovers by 16 points

Definitely must agree with the top 3, Daly was a deserved winner and Hyde oozes class along witrh Norman. Apart from the top bracket, what do the umpires see. From the few North games i saw i would have had Brandon Ryan in the minor votes, same goes for Luke Garland from lavi. I suppose when umpires are having a tough enough time adjudicating the game itself, the allocation of votes usually goes to the midfielders who are under the umpires nose all day long. Which once again makes the Brandon Ryan voteless situation even more mind boggling.

Well done to Albury one of the great teams maybe ever :thumbsu:
The game followed the path as the ones before them with albury once again getting a big lead with yarra coming back. Most be heartbreaking for them boys to get so close two years in a row might of been there last chance i think but hope them come back for another crack. Great day, great weather and all games of footy were close and enjoyable to watch. The seconds was a cracker of a game

What about the seconds wow, probably the most controversial thing I've ever seen on a footy field, would of been even more so if Albury got up

Didn't make it to the game, mate, can you please elaborate...?

How did Ednie, Barnes, Jez O'Brien and Joel Smith play in the ones? I don't think any of them were named in the best for the match, yet are probably yarra's best players..

firstly, i dont know how ednie didnt get in the best, he had 25 disposals, kicked 3 goals, and got tagged the F*** out of, he was phenomanol if u ask me, completly stunned that he wasnt in yarras top 6.

and the siren went, the yarras boys celerbrated there 1 point win, then the umpires said they had it as a draw and they overuled the timekeepers so they got everyone off the field and started extra time, where yarra ran over them convincingly

Ednie was very rough not to get in Yarras best

Also thought Joel Smith was good, didn't get a mountain of it but he beat Bush convincingly every time the ball went near them.
